he was a second year coach that won a superbowl led by its defense which featured his first two picks of his tenure as starting linebackers with timmons and woodley. he was also the guy who let harrison become the starting weakside rusher, and he promptly produced one of the greatest pass rushing seasons ever. no one wants to talk about how the offensive line was gutted between the two superbowls. tomlin got handed a shyt offense and made the defense stronger than it ever was under cowher.
