DOs
  • Do vote with an agenda
  • Do vote with specific candidates in mind, not a party
  • Do vote after researching said candidates and their exact platform
  • Do vote after looking at a track records
  • Do feel comfortable leaving a field blank if you’re either not sure or familiar about a candidate. You have no obligation to hand them anything. By law all ballots will be counted
DONT

  • Don’t vote for buttered biscuits, catfish nuggets, or because someone “told” you to
  • Don’t vote for one party across the board just because
  • Don’t vote out of fear or emotion
  • Don’t vote candidates who have no real plan or agenda you would benefit from
  • Don’t vote candidates without a track record
  • Don’t vote candidates because they are or aren’t a certain race
Voting season is coming up y’all. Consider this a public service announcement.

Read those voting guides in the mail don’t throw them away and don’t listen to clowns in or out of this forum trying to influence your vote. Do your own research

Voting is a business transaction and once business is done, now back to your regularly scheduled fukkery

So I don't have a problem with the underlying reasons here, although I don't agree entirely with it, but this doesn't track, efficiently, with the current voting systems and dominate two-party system in place in America.

As it currently stands, both nationally and state wise, party control is the most important. You are better off making these decisions in the primary, but heading into the general, no offense, this approach provides the weakest approach regarding the realization of legislation, especially in states without ranked choice, which is a large majority of states.

We are currently heading into the general elections.

edit: Another thing to consider, this also applies to the primary elections. Say you have a candidate on paper that tracks with your beliefs versus the leading candidate in the same party, if your candidate doesn't track with the highest % chance to win the general, then you are better off voting in those that will win the general, as the difference between that candidate is smaller than the difference of the opposing candidate from another party and your candidate.

So without ranked choice, you have an obligation to put in the work, along with the candidate and their team, to put the candidate in a position to win both the primary and then you put in the work to get them the general victory.

Voting for “anything” is illogical. “Anything” even if it has a “D” next to it can screw you over

Except the Republicans are DEFINITELY gonna do everything they can to work against Black people.

So you're better off with a Democrat that "might" be secretly plotting. Cause that "might" percentage is low.

The racists and white supremacists are all going to vote this novemeber for candidates who support thier bigotry and racism, i encourage every black person to get registered and vote in this elections. If voting wasnt important the GOP wont go out of their way at every turn to enact voter suppresion tactics. Look what happened in georgia a red state for decades, because black people voted in record numbers and elected biden and warnock and ossoff as senators, they immediately passed a law that you cant even give folks water on the voting line and other bs nonsense. They hate it when black folks vote, watch foxnews they celebrate in joy when they think black voters wont show up because they know their racists candidates have better chances.

Which is why you vote by candidate and track record. We don’t keep things simple in voting.

You don’t keep it simple while conducting a million dollar deal. You look at the specifics, do your due diligence, look at the numbers.

Politics isn’t simple, it’s business

I feel that you are a don't vote person trying to package the bullshyt into something that sounds more intelligent.

Who are the Republicans that deserve this closer look and this million dollar deal deep dive?

When I say ALL REPUBLICANS need to go, which ones deserve to be spared because they are doing the right thing?

Some of y’all put way too much stick into voting. We been voting since we were alllowed to, and we’re still in pretty much last place. Meanwhile Asians who have one of the lowest voter turnouts, are the highest earners in this country. What are they doing that we’re not? Maybe we should do that, instead of being so obsessed with politicians.

"Since we were allowed...."

1965 wasn't that long ago.

But the real question is, what are they (Asians) doing that we're not?
