Then he has one game where he plays more aggressive and now all of a sudden he can't play in a "ball movement offense"? You were using DRTG without the proper context against Kyrie. You probably could get away with it against a poster who's none the wiser, but you should know better waving that shyt in front of me. Kyrie's DRTG was bad because he played in lineups which were horrible defensively - the Cavs were one of the worst defensive teams in the league. All of the Cavs starters had similar DRTGs because of it.

i. He's not a shyt defender. He's league-average for his position, and is above average in the playoffs.

ii. My contention with Westbrook wasn't really about his defense, it was about folk overvaluing his triple doubles, and really triple doubles in general
iii. Kyrie doesn't sacrifice defensive assignment to look for rebounds, bringing up my arguments that involve Westbrook's defense aren't relevant to this discussion. If Kyrie starts doing that, I will start calling him out on that too.
