Nah man they don't even have that much talent. You are right about Brown and Grant though which is a damn shame. They both need to be sh1tcanned and the team needs to be blown up but that's not gonna happen. What can we honestly expect out of next season either? Where's the change going to come from with the team as is? Just a frustrating situation.

Eh Augustin always destroys us, its weird.
My point is you have enough to go off of to see what kind of players Waiters and Thompson are, so even if they were to make the playoffs it wouldn't do them any good. Waiters is a 6th man, and Thompson has shown minimal improvement in 3.5 seasons (not a starter on a good team either). They're players that the Cavs rely on to do well but they don't bring it consistently. That backcourt can't play defense in the slightest, and neither can Thompson. TT has no offensive skills at all and can only score with 2 hands on the rim. They need to package all the assets they have in a trade or 2 and redesign the squad or they'll never get it done. We'll be right back here talking about the same shyt next year. Varejao and Thompson need to go, especially TT.
Mike Brown shares the blame too but he's not going anywhere so we have to live with a coach whose career was made by the current best player in the league.
The Cavs have better basketball talent than the current rosters of the Hawks, Celtics, Raptors, Bobcats, Sixers, Bulls, Magic, And Bucks.
They should be fighting for the 4/5th seed and taking their first playoff lumps this year.

I'm just gonna analyze the whole squad to point out each and every thing thats wrong. The Cavs best players, in order:
1. Kyrie Irving
2. Luol Deng
3. Anderson Varejao
4. Dion Waiters
5. Tristan Thompson
6. CJ Miles
- If that's their top 6 then they're poorly constructed to start with.
- CJ Miles starts because he can spot up, when he's a bench scorer on a good team.
- They should try to re-sign Luol because he'll be key if they actually admit fault and trade Thompson & or Waiters
- The only thing Thompson does above average is rebound, lets face it (Missed on the 4th pick)
- Varejao still has value, but its empty value as long as he still plays for us. He's the type of player that swings playoff series....trade him ASAP.
- I still think D. Waiters has 6th man of the year potential, but he needs to be plugged into a team with some idea of what its doing on offense. It would be frustrating to see him go somewhere else and flourish, yet Mike Brown is not gonna help him reach his potential here, so trading him might be the right move.
- We agree Mike Brown is the worst type of coach to lead inexperienced, unestablished players. He never had a clue how to use Shannon Brown, JJ Hickson or Boobie Gibson when they were young and showed flashes. Why should we trust him to develop the talent we have now?
-Chris Grant has made the deals to put himself in position to turn the franchise around, but whiffed on 3 high lottery picks that don't fit together, and aren't as talented as some of the young players we see flourishing elsewhere.
- We have an owner who's said he doesn't want to be back in the lottery again this year. While he might not have a choice, I still dont want him to force Grant's had to sign players who will make us just good enough to be a fringe playoff team, but just bad enough to get bounced early. (re: Atlanta Hawks)
The playoffs won't help a team that has no identity and no culture. Our coach is too nice, his credentials are overrated. Our GM can't evaluate talent properly, and doesn;t have the foresight to construct a team the right way. fukk the playoffs, personnel on and off the court both need to change first.
