Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Figured I would share some insight from what I've heard/observed:

- Dion Waiters is Dan Gilbert's favorite player on the roster. He was the main advocate for drafting him...not Byron Scott as previously thought.

-There is a high demand for Varejao's services around the league.

- Bennett was rushed to play immediately because Gilbert believed he could play his way into shape. Chris Grant wanted to trade out of the #1 pick and had deals with Utah and Phoenix on the table. Gilbert was told Bennett had the highest upside in the lottery. So they took him.

- Deng probably wants $12-13 million a year. He knows this is his last big deal and wants to compete for a championship.

- New GM David Griffin grew up in a rough Mexican part of Phoenix and excels at personal relationships. :wtf:

- Jack is unhappy. But his contract is unmovable.
