This is flawed reasoning.

The GOP don't have voters on the fence because their coalition is not diverse. They just have to worry about white people and they can win elections by picking off a few minorities. The only racial demographic that the GOP wins the majority of is white men and white women.

Dems have to worry about everybody else.
Do you get paid by the dems? :scust:

Looks at your avi :laff:

Never mind i don't want to offend your Donkey god :whoa: :dead:

This is what it looks like when someone doesn't have a logical counterpoint.
You never had a point to start with to counter :dahell:

Cornell west can run and if hes siphoning votes from the dems they needed better policy to unite the people on the fence not less opponents :mjlol:

mentioned below in the tlr thread when cornel announced his presidential bid...

he has no chance at winning, but i agree his message is important. don't understand his 3rd party strategy though. he should think back to his support of ralph nader, who siphoned votes away from al gore, and we ended up with dubya. nader got about 90,000 votes in fl. bush beat gore by less than 500 votes in fl. we got the bush doctrine and all the preemptive wars that came with it. world ain't been the same since.

if dr west was serious about really getting his message out to the largest audience possible, and potentially forcing his agenda in the mix he might better off running as a dem and challenging biden for the dem nomination. at least in the primaries he gets a much larger audience. playing the role of spoiler, again, would be just as disastrous as when bush jr won.

he could also run for a congressional seat where he could hold some power to control an agenda n the ruling party, similar to manchin.

imo a 3rd party bid by cornel is not only dangerous for us (if it helps defendant chump win and pardon himself) , but it's bad for everyone who's not rich or a white nationalist.

You all keep saying they are siphoning votes when the reality is Gore and Bush were seen as the same candidate in 2000. Also Gore ran away from Clinton who was immensely popular in 2000, even after the impeachment and affair. Al Gore lost Tennessee, a state he was in congress for nearly 20 years and won the senate, and his dad served for damn near 40 years including three terms as senator.

Al Gore lost the 2000 election because he ran a bad campaign and the GOP cheated with the courts. Not because of Ralph Nader.

Ross Perot is the only guy who got close to costing someone an election, but Perot was worth about 10 billion dollars and paid for ad space on primetime TV. That's not happening in 2024 because we have too many viewing options to take our attention.

I think you all believe third-party candidates cause major candidates elections because the Reps and Dems tell you they caused them an election and use their media voices to echo that thinking, manufacturing consent. They do this and you don't see how vast the resources of these two parties are that they convinced you it was some small third-party candidates fault. :dead:

The Deep State
Third Party candidates running for president are a big waste of time. It’s a big jerk off. If a Third party wants to be taken seriously, it has to build itself from the ground up. What’s the point of winning the presidency if your agenda is dead on arrival? The other two parties would form like Voltron to put an end to all of Cornell West policies just out of self preservation.
I’d rather they push for ranked choice voting. This is all a waste of time.

Favoring Wall Street and Multinational Corporations at the expense of the working class, most of all.

You're assuming he doesn't know he's a low-information voter. :skip:
Get real. There’s not a candidate for president and a congress that would ever neuter Wall Street or corporations.

Y’all live in a fantasy world. Minimizing republican power is the single most important reason to vote

Which is why so many people have stopped voting for the Democrats, dumbass.

There was a time in the past where people really believed that democrats were for the union worker over the employer and the small business over the corporation. In the 80s and 90s, the party leadership fully turned itself over to neoliberalism and destroyed their image, then spent the 2000s cementing their new identity. The white working class responded by switching to the Republicans and the black working class responded by checking out of elections.

Imagine if the Democrats actually ran like they cared about that as much as we do. :skip:

:dead: Let’s ignore Biden endorsing the Amazon and Starbucks works trying to unionize in order to keep blaming Dems for something

If I’m a low information voter then y’all are delusional voters. There is no scenario we’re not voting for democrats will get your unrealistic progressive dreams fulfilled.

We saw this in 2016 with “Bernie bros” not voting for Hilary.

How did that work out? Let me tell you⬇️

They voted for Biden in 2020
