People first getting into battle rap should be forced to watch atleast Verb/Holla and Lux/Calicoe. But in order to really "get" those battles, you should watch some earlier battles from those dudes. In battle rap, it's like the more you know about it, the better the battles can be sometimes. I'd say stay away from any current Smack stuff, or atleast like the last couple years of Smack because it's really mostly celebrity factor in those battles. Not much actual rapping. But that's also something that gets debated as some people ONLY watch URL.

Pretty much....those are the introductions for the newbies, then you give em' old classics like Tez vs Hitman, pick up the speed to a Big Kannon vs O-Red, K- Shine vs Roc, or take em' back to Cal vs Suge.
