Hey TBZ/The Coli, got in after a long day. I went to youtube on the phone & saw the URL just dropped a new battle. I was hoping it was Ty Law/Bmagic, which I admit was very unrealistic. Instead, I see something that I couldn't imagine. A west coast proving ground between 2 white guys. Here we are with another shytty battle from that PG Las Vegas event. When the URL puts this type of content on their channel, they are basically saying anybody can get on the URL. The fact that you got these 2 fake ass white boys talking about some gangsta shyt in an unconvincing way in the world's most respected is unacceptable. You got KG, Myers, & Aspect smiling like some Uncle Tom's. You got Myers, who got punked out of 12k. KG, who gave out silly threats & never got Rum Nitty's money. Finally, you got Aspect who tries so hard to convince you that he's authentic that it's pathetic. These are the guys who are picking the talent?This is what the URL went out west for? Look at what it did to QOTR. QOTR is damn near non existent, because they badly wanted to recruit & shoot battles out there. Why? What are these league owners obsession with getting the westcoast going. West coast battle rap will forever be trash. Their best emcee does gay antics. Their most popular emcee lost to Cassidy. Someone get this to the URL. Shut down the west coast division. These guys are ruining the brand. How are you gonna drop this crap on your page, but guys who are actually talented can't get on the URL. Let AHAT take these clowns.

Aight let's talk about the URL west coast division. It is ran by KG the poet & Aspect One with help by Danny Myers. We are gonna start with the bargod first. I like Danny, but we got to talk about it. He gave 12k to T-Rex in hopes to do a battle. It's been over a year since he gave Rex the 12k. There still hasn't been a battle. If he wasn't able to identify that Rex isn't the type of guy to give 12k on a verbal agreement, why the fukk would he be able to identify talent?
Next, we are gonna go to Aspect One. This guy was on a podcast trying to talk about being a street dude. You really expect me to believe that? C'mon man you a cornball nygga.
Finally, we are gonna go to KG. He sends death threats to Teddy Grizzle on the radio. Of course that means nothing is gonna happen. Your just a battle rapper man. These nyggas spit some gun bars & can't separate fantasy from reality. He really thinks he's a kingpen because he won a battle against Sno. Shut the fukk up KG.

The Danny Myers slander is unwarranted. If you ever meet the dude, you get the feeling that he lives for battle rap. That he loves it more than anybody. He's keeping it alive and that's more than a message board post is worth.
But I agree, URL west has work to do. You have to understand that the west coast culture itself is TOTALLY different from the east coast. There's not really the industry out here to support a battle rap league. AHAT events is literally 100% rappers in the building, it's a weird atmosphere. I honestly think it has a lot of potential just based on the fact that no one is doing it right out here! If somebody managed a league properly, it would blow AHAT and whatever else out of the water. OD basically charges people to get in and he has his camera crew all set up so he gets his content. But he doesn't care about the state of battle rap, it's purely financial for him. So it almost works for him to build up his league like he does, and make it more of a "shyt ANYBODY can get on AHAT" type thing, because at the end of the day, everybody is his customers. OD's like yeah you can get your battle in no problem, cuz everybody pays to get in.

Y'all don't think being aligned with NWX helps him push his pen? I don't think they write each other's bars, but surely they hear & revise each other's material. And Shine has bars for the most part, it's the delivery that gets shaky.
Make Shine practice his material more, give DNA some non corny angles to attack his opponents with, and they become much better battlers. Now if they can only get Big T to punch more frequently.......
In any case, he's throwing those shots to get the NWX v Writers Block event booked and paid for. He's not "wasting" bars if nobody has cut a check for him to battle someone in Writer's Block. He's just generating fan & league interest.
