I think he tried to change his style because people were saying he was boring. Sometimes you just need to do what you do best.

This was bad bars AND bad performance. He didn't have anything really. His style is so long winded and requires him to rap in a very specific way. Dizaster would pick Chilla apart and then go off on a tangent not related to Chilla but it still worked better than Chilla's stuff. I could see some people faulting Dizaster for that, but pretty much every top name does that in big battles - big leaguing their opponents by acting like their own personal vendettas and shyt are more important. Dizaster didn't do a lot of that though, he definitely ripped Chilla.
And don't get me wrong, Chilla can look good against a LOT of PG's with the performance he had last night. But this right here was his battle against Dizaster, that's a big name in battle rap. And he damn sure shoulda known better than to come with THAT shyt.

He coulda went CRAZY. He was battling Dizaster of all people. He coulda done a Dizaster parody or something just to have an excuse to get loud like that. But no he just launches into his multis and bullshyt, it was like Lux against Mook. Lux was a little lamb being fed to a lion in that battle. Same here. He let Dizaster basically move his body around and shyt like it's nothing, and then when Chilla's round comes up he's afraid to raise his voice?! Chilla got scared when he shoulda showed the fukk up and acted like a battle rapper. He gets 0 points for this performance
