I guess I shouldn't even be surprised.
I just started listening to that Hitman PSA interview.
Hitman keeping the Crown 2 deposit too, which I can understand because that battle was official & probably already started preparation for that battle.
The whole deposit shyt is bullshyt though. In his mind, he justified keeping all these deposits, because he didn't mess anything up.
There's a reason they stick with the same core of nyggas (clips, dna, verb, roc, todd,etc) because they are willing to work with the url.
Man I'm listening to the interview now. It was on the table for Gorilla Warfare, not the url. They are looking for replacement opponents. He really didn't seem interested in any of them & said Bigg K was the best option. I know he's country so I guess he's hard to follow. He doesn't articulate his thoughts the best. He said Head Ice was another option they presented to him. Those aren't the type of matches the url would even entertain. When he gave a run down of options in that interview (k shine, bigg k, head ice) that was all presented to him by GW.

Every card isn't gonna be a super card anymore with these prices, we are probably gonna see more events like Redemption with new guys thrown in the mix, I'm not that mad at that though because there aren't THAT many vet vs vet matches even left lol
Man.... But the guys who KNOW the leagues need them will raise their prices too. They'll have maximum leverage.
it's a double edged sword cuz when shyt gets corporate it will lose some of that gritty feel, but it will be hard to afford certain cats without it lol

fair enough i'm basing that mostly on the outsiders that threw big events, with smack knowin the culture more maybe it won't lol
They can keep the gritty shyt. The investors they had were just dudes in it for a quick flip.... None really wanted to stay in it. This shyt is so bad that it's scaring investors away. Dudes airing out too much business.

He thinks the URL doesn't like him. He's upset when the URL says he's hard to work with & he's proving that he is hard to work with on this interview. He feels the URL tried to screw him with 17.5k.
So basically the reason why this battle hasn't happened on the URL is all Hitman. It's not URL's fault. It's not Suge's fault. It's Hitman. The guy is hard to deal with. I believe if the URL can make Suge/Hitman & Roc/Hitman, after they get those battles out the way, they should move on from him completely.
This is my formula for the URL. Bring in new guys, repair old relationships (ill will, bigg k) & stick to guys that are willing to work with them. They need to move on from the divas.
Hitman lost sight that the URL platform was a huge part in him getting the Wild N Out opportunity.
Surf does a hellava job using his exposure from the URL to build his music fanbase, secure features, etc.
It's not just about money. It's the opportunities that open up.
