But nobody lost that battle in the grand scheme of things honestly, the fans won and got a classic

Him losing to Mookie doesn't mean anything imo.
Even if he woulda won, cause that crowd was trash and both they material sucked

If it woulda been an authentic battlerap format I woulda looked at it different.

They did a poll in the AFM group the other day and nikkas still have Lux higher than Mook on they Top5 which makes a lotta sense.
When it comes down to it, nikkas just don't respect Mook's performances.

They asked battlers who they'd rather face. Most of em said Lux, simply because they respect his skill level a lot more than Mook

It goes to show you, ain't all about who you beat, it's about how you beat em. Was it trash (Mook v Iron, Mook v Lux) or was it exceptional (Lux v Calicoe, Lux v Hollow even if it's debatable)

Nah I dont count his youtube verse for anything, but that was his real 2nd round....so in that im just comparing the two sayin his 2nd against Cal was solid but compared to what he could of did that night its not THAT crazy.

Ofcourse it was a thing back THEN, but that's because LUX was that nikka not Mook.

Calicoe made an interesting point on his AFR interview.
He said sumn along the lines of "Lux lost his battle w/ Mook because Mook defended Calicoe" you should listen to it. The way he broke it down was interesting

Mind you, Hollow defended Calicoe as well after his battle.

If lux woulda switched it up after his battle w/ Calicoe it woulda been a different battle.
But that's irrelavant because he didn't

Fact is, Lux beat himself more than Mook beat him..
and nikkas came to that realization after the shock wore off

Mook is just running w/ the fact that he's "undefeated 11rounds"
Which doesn't mean anything if you were TRASH doin it.

Both had trash opponents but who's performance was stellar to this day?

Yeah I listened to the interview. Pretty solid. I just went back and re watched the Cal vs Lux battle. And Lux was lowkey trash the first 2 rounds. Add in the bad choke and I could now see how some could say Cal won

Lux did a lot of babbling and lyrical miracle bullshyt and nikkaz were almost booin him at times.

I actually re-watched this two nights ago. SM2 was a fukking movie.

However those are literally like the only direct bars Lux had to Cal in his first 2.5 rounds. Plus, he was nervous as hell and choked. The ONLY reason we got that third round moment was because the crowd gave Lux the ultimate respect and let him paint his picture. Anyone else was getting booed trying that black consciousness theme.

Cal low key won that battle..... you can almost argue 3-0.

I've been telling nikkas that Lux is overrated. There are nicer lyricist than Lux out there, but nikkas don't want to fukk with them.
