Thing is Lux is just as much as a money grubber as Mook, all daylyt needs in the funds to battle him

It aint just about the bread....Lux addressed it a couple times basically saying he really dont know if Day is serious or he gonna bullshyt during the battle. Its a fukked up scenario, cause Quill can go but all these pointless antics & L's hes catchin, dont help his case with his 4 yr obsession to battle Lux. Shyt is worse then Verbs lol

Yeah I listened to the interview. Pretty solid. I just went back and re watched the Cal vs Lux battle. And Lux was lowkey trash the first 2 rounds. Add in the bad choke and I could now see how some could say Cal won :patrice:

Lux did a lot of babbling and lyrical miracle bullshyt and nikkaz were almost booin him at times.

:mjpls:

@Diyhai

If we're being 100, Mook lost most of his DVD era battles, VERY BADLY. He was just the youngest nikka out along w/ Cassidy at that time. The fact they never battled is also a tragedy.

What did Lux do that Hollow didn't? Both are from the original era, outdoors battles, 106 etc. etc. As a matter of fact Hollow battled in every notable league from that era and across a greater multitude of opponets. This whole "Lux has nothing to prove" thing is a wash to me. He beat Calicoe then arguably lost his next two.

I think Hollow/Mook inspired just as many if not more people than Lux but that's my opinion.

Daylyt, OOOPS, etc. = baby Lux
Surf, Roc, etc. = baby Mook
DNA, Charron, etc. = baby Hollow

So the whole "Lux stands alone" argument isn't at all a thing in my mind. There are like three distinct pillars which each holds. Lux started the real talk thirds, Mook started the street bars for anyone, and Hollow did the first gimmick in a major event (HULK HOGANNNNNN!)

*Surf Mode*

Its like you can say Mike the best but he's a wing player. But if you're a center you might look at Kareem as the best, if you're a forward you might say it's Lebron or Larry. They're all GOATS but in different categories.
You're reaching if you say Hollow influenced battlers more than Lux did though. Even battlers who are styled like Hollow will still use Lux bars from that Calioce battle and the Miles battle to this day. You're not hearing anybody pushing Hollow's "classic" (lol) bars.

nikkas get all types of disrespectful when convos about lux come up :wtf: this extra shyt aint necessary

It's a lot of speculating and what if scenarios. Those are weak arguments. The whole Calicoe won argument is pointless. Cal didn't have memorable moments. "The crowd favored Lux more" isn't a strong argument for Cal winning. Lux's name sold a lot more this tickets that night than Cal's did. But seasoned fans can block most of the crowd out and focus on the material, and the overall presentation of said material. What was it about Cal's presentation that was noteworthy?
