URL is just lazy. I just think taking a WGH hard battle and putting it up on their channel as a pg is just cheap and lazy. How hard is it to recruit some more midwest nyggas? Maybe get a couple of southern nyggas?

Have yall tried to watch some of these pg battles? How can anyone tell me these nyggas don't sound alike.

The Midwest had their run. Why would anyone need to go out there to recruit? The events are here, if they want it they'll make their way here like all the other Midwest guys did.

The PGs are over-saturated, but I understand why. As long as it's marked a "PG", I know what the deal is. I usually won't watch unless I hear something good beforehand.

Aight, y'all may not feel me on this shyt but I have to say this: to a degree (the key phrase), I say fukk the main stage. I feel like between the fans being pretty much displeased with so much talent, the events, and the leagues, the main stage NOW seems to have more problems that fans can pick out than I remember. When the battles drop, aside from maybe editing issues or whatnot, the crowd noises fukk shyt up, there's some weirdo time issues that get blown out of proportion, and the possibility of drama to pop off on the main stage with so many people up there. Some of these smaller room events seem to give us better battles and it allows for some of these guys to flex against their opponent.

With that said, and I'm asking this to get a different view, why do you some of you guys feel the main stage is always that important? Don't talk to me about bags and careers. I get that. Give me something else from this because I'm 50/50 on some of these main stage battles right now and I'm not just sayin' URL.

Main stage classics >>>>> small room classics in terms of impact. Case in point SM2. Or more recently NWX vs Guntitles.

And the main stage will always be a bigger deal because of what I pointed out above and there are bigger crowds, more energy. And like it or not for battle rap to grow the stages have to get bigger.

Its like a rapper saying fukk going on tour in front of hundreds of thousands, he'd rather perform at a hole in the wall in bumblefukk St. Louis. Pure lunacy.

An aspiring artist wants to eventually get on the biggest platform possible. A growing genre of entertainment needs the biggest platforms possible. Only way they can grow.

This is going to come down to different point of views. You are from NY. I am a midwest guy.

I'm not talking about a whole wave of guys. You need a good mix of talent from different areas imo. I'm not saying the they should do anything like what Debo was doing with QOTR. Just 1 or 2 acts from the midwest, maybe a couple from the south. I acknowledge that the east coast style of battle rap is the most effective and should be the home base. However, to keep it from becoming too regional, I do believe it is important to have acts from different areas.

I agree that pulling talent from other regions would be dope. Which reminds me...whatever happened to Scotty?

What happened to Jaz? Did she retire?

She's never battled like that anyway, but you got Couture, Bonnie, and Tori who are acceptable opponents. The opponents are there if she's interested.

I personally think she started fukking and lost all focus. While she's out here dyeing her hair, getting piercings on her nose, and all this other shyt, Bonne & Myverse been out here working and got on Wild N Out
