The NBA decides games numerically. Your can't say that the Cavs won the Finals because you prefer their style of play.

Battles are decided by opinions so a judge's word isn't definitive. Watch and judge yourself.

First of all there really isn't anything as an "unbiased" judge, because everyone has their preferences. And it's art, there aren't "points" like in real sports. Outside of clear bodies (shyt like JJDD-Reed) battle rap fans argue about damn near EVERY battle Hell, within the last few pages of this thread you can see someone arguing Calicoe beat Lux and someone else arguing Lux beat Mook 2-1. Everyone has different tastes.

I get it but I do often think well damn....you're calling it a sport, don't sports usually have an end result of who truly won with numbers or scores affected by fouls, penalties, and etc. I don't know. Playing a little devil's advocate hear because so many things to me are bit ass backwards in battle rap. I hear ya'll tho.

I recently watched and convinced the perception of this battle would be different if it took place somewhere else.

Mook was real bad here. Sounded very outdated.

Everyone on that card was bad that night.

I thought Arsonal did pretty well that night. I'll have to go back to it but I remember him being focused.

It CAN be closely related to boxing I suppose, since at the end of the day that's a "judgment" sport as well, though it's more clearly defined who is winning/who won than battle rap is.

If that Lux vs. Mook battle happened on URL Mook and his hippopotamus bars would've gotten booed out of the building and we'd probably look at it differently. But that shyt doesn't matter, because it DID happen on Total Slaughter and Mook prepared his shyt for that crowd.

Not saying she's a star, but she's the one with all the personality, and she's gotten better looking over the years. Maybe she should be doing more appearances, shyt talking, promotion, etc. Beasley has become more of a battle rap personality over the years, why hasn't Babs done the same?

It's not a sport and if you think we won't be arguing the results of judged battles you're short sighted. We don't need judge's we just need performers to show up with 3 good rounds and everything's fine.

No one fukking said that. I proposed how it seems with overall judging on who won and who didn't. You can argue all you want. I just looked at it like scores vs. people's opinions overall. Because sports usually let the numbers determine who wins and there's always comparison of the NBA. And basketball is one of the key sports that does that is what I was saying.

This my first and only post, i been reading this thread from beginning to end (may 2012-now) for the past year at my job. Just wanted to say yall nikkas ARE the culture that is Battle Rap. I made a Coli account for the sole purpose of letting yall know that yall are 50% of the reason i love battle rap. Not all of yall but majority have been in this thread since the jump and have been consistently on it non stop and i learn shyt, go back and see battles i never seen all while be being entertained. Only person i can talk battle rap with is my girl and she only listen cause she love me but she dont know what be going on fr so yall posts mean alot.
