Norbes was shytting on bloggers earlier today. He mostly kept going back to saying they don't sell tickets. I feel like bloggers do help and they also do hurt this battle rap shyt. I feel like they have helped me get caught on some of the news going on. But I hate it when they have the wrong info in their blogs tho. Opinions are opinions so I leave that be. Thoughts?

Bloggers best serve battle rap by being corny, overstating things, staring rumors, and fanning flames. That sells tickets and gets every level of fan interested or annoyed. Level and fair critique has a place, but that's never going to bring as many eyes and ears to the battles.

TMZ does numbers and usually helps the people they troll and expose gain attention. Bloggers can play a similar role with the added benefit of battles actually settling the arguments.

Norbes desperately tried for years to become a battle rap media personality, so I find it hard to take his opinions on bloggers seriously. We all remember that period when "The War Report" was doing the most in attempts to compete with "Angryfan Radio", they kept switching the hosts and everything. Then they gave Uncle Henny/Snakeyez/Posey their own podcast. That didn't work out too well.

Matter of a fact, that might be where the backlash against bloggers who aren't at big Smack events is coming from (Norbes). All those random War Report spinoff bloggers are at the NY events.

Disagree with this first sentence because I don't think that is the case everytime. Because when they get it right, they get it right. But everything else, I see what you mean and agree with.
