I believe JC has an exclusive deal with URL so it can only happen on their platform. Given Lux's asking price, him wanting it in a small room and URL always booking in-demand battles late, I'd say we won't see this until 2019.

I'm not trying to get at you, but you looking/sounding a little crazy the last few pages. What's the difference between you predicting a debatable and another nikka predicting a 3-0? People predict 3-0s for their favored battler constantly, but I like to believe this board has enough people, no matter the standom, who are willing to concede a lost round or a at least recognize why something is debatable. The recent PPV thread compared to the convo in here with the same people showed that all the consistent posters are 100% ok with rescoring their rounds on the rewatch.

I can't judge your disgust for what Hollow appears to have done, but you really do need to leave room for the possibility that you are missing vital information as to how things got to where they are between Hollow, Math, Diz, whoever.

When I made the point I made, it is based on fan predictions and biased tastes. Notice when it was announced Diz vs Roc, the predictable Roc 3-0 shyt came up since you want to chime in before I stated what I stated. If I look crazy, so be it but you responded too.

And I actually don't have any disgust for what Hollow has done (big fan of Hollow). I think both Math and Hollow, overall, had some issues of communications which Hollow definitely addressed. I just questioned handling it behind the scenes more through affiliated parties way beforehand. Math and Hollow have both valid points of why they had a falling out.

Cortez vs Head Ice for the KOTD title.

Glad this is happening. Wouldn't be surprised if Cortez ends up taking it though. If Head ICE defends his title, I still think Cortez will ok because his showing against Twork on SM6 will give him that buzz. Dope rematch battle on paper but hopefully, it'll live up to the hype. Some history behind it too.

Cortez is going to throw this battle. He's actually in a position to get decent Smack looks now, he's not giving up on that for the KOTD chain. At least I don't think so.

If he doesn't throw the battle, ICE will. Both of these guys rarely lose so I can see it going either way. ICE losing will mean he could probably put Beasely on blast again for a battle, lol. Cortez winning will give him a break for a while and the recognition for the chain.

There's ONLY two well known street style battlers that take KOTD 100% serious.

If either Ice or Cortez guys gives a half-hearted effort here, it's going to kill some of the interest in KOTD as a platform.

Don't want to put too much pressure on it, but KOTD kinda needs this battle to be great. The fact that it's a judged battle will hold it back, because these guys can't just get up there and empty their clips out on each other like Ars/Lux or Roc/Hollow.
Are they going to reach out the original judges? Are they going to fly Lux out to co-host this one? They need to do something special for this.
