People care to see Lush One in a battle at this point? :dwillhuh:

and give me dap for the coke lines, breh. it took me 3 minutes to come up with that shyt. lol.

I damn near forgot that Lush One could rap. Last time I saw him rap, he was freestyling with Heartless & QP years ago. It's on youtube.

I like how dude is damn near a battle rap encyclopedia, but they way he carries himself, you don't think he can remember what happened 5 minutes ago.

Yeah, that sums up Lush. He'll go from praising Kodak Black to telling you how important Cannibal Ox's Col Vein was when Def Jux was in its prime.

Random thoughts for tonight

When you think about it, the majority of the KOTD staff has rapped in the past right? Probably why the URL nyggas always felt they were treated better when they finally went over there. Since most of them have rapped, battles, or whatever they understand the point of view of going up there to perform.

JFoxx - QP always credits him for giving him the formula on how to battle. QP could rap, but fox taught him how to battle. He would apparently kill nyggas in text battles too. However, for whatever reason, this nygga couldn't rap at all. Maybe he was a solid writer, but he just could not perform and he acknowledged that.

I think Drect is the corniness nygga in battle rap. He appears to be a "good" guy, but I just don't like him.

I agree with this sentiment though I have to this. I think URL dropped the fukkin' ball with some of the talent overall which has always been my biggest beef with them. I'm not going to say that it was completely their fault but I took issue with the fact guys like Head Ice, Cortez, Marv Won, and Swave Sevah would put in work and not get their just due; all bullshyt about platforms aside and that "business" bullshyt talk, that used to frustrate me. Even if they fukk up, I feel like URL could give them something. Because they did the same for quite a few names you could see it was politics based. Then KOTD swoops in, once they got their shyt together (wasn't a fan really in the beginning), and gives talent like that a chance to shine while they build more. So, if anything, I feel that fans whether they want to admit it or not that once GT folded pretty much, KOTD filled the void of a demand of that part of the battle rap scene.

Californ-i-a by way of BK
I had to stop it halfway through and do some push-ups. Lux went off, it's going to take me a few listens to digest all this.
I listened legit at least 12 times and I keep catching more shyt. It took me 3 listens to catch the entire first two bars.
