(1) We gotta give credit to Flex for actually having freestyles for real instead of that oddball Westwood shyt. Him and I'd say Sway are keeping it a buck with those.

(2) Let's forget the JC talk or whoever else he could battle for a moment. Let's just talk about the mechanics of being able to rap like that. There is something to be said for layering similes and metaphors in bars with real talk. Then scheming the fukk out of it effortlessly. And the way your voice works with all that in its delivery. Lux knows what he is doing and he shows it very well in this video.

It’s not a card, it’s the truth. And oh yes I can. It is very easily better than anything JC has ever written, or at least what I’ve heard from JC. Jc is an amazing writer but his shyt isn’t nearly as layered. His shyt is fire but it’s very easy to decipher off one or two listens. He specifically writes in a way to hit immediately but slightly more complex than your regular puncher. You don’t go back and catch shyt that often from JC that you missed.

You legit have to watch this freestyle like 10 times to get half of the metaphors.
