I think Smack helped RBE a lot by dropping the Verb vs Twork. I told y'all it wasn't going to play out like people were calling it that night.

Personally, I'm starting to warm up to some of stuff Verb does now. I could possibly be getting caught up in the hype of the Mook battle. But now I'm not so much worried about Verb's ability. But he needs to edit out the stuff that's irrelevant to Mook. He started his 2nd round saying Twork lacked star power, and it irked the shyt out of me. How did that material make the cut? Just dumb.... and he has one or two REALLY terrible punches a round... those can easily be removed. But who is he going over his material with?

Verb needed one more strong performance after Twork to flesh out this new style before Mook. I think people are coming around, but not to the point where we can let go of the old Verb, and put full confidence in Vegan Verb.

If he won the judged battle vs Pat, Verb would have be going into the Mook battle with a lot of momentum. The Twork battle should help the RBE PPV sales, but one more good one would have made me more comfortable with putting Vegan Verb up there vs Murda Mook.

He needs to get his confidence and aggression up, cuz the lyrics are there

It's weird to say but right now i think Mike P does it better than him, that's why i think they need to battle, maybe that'll help verb weave better punches into his shyt

I’m not a fan of tsu Surf as a battler or even a rapper, but that freestyle on I-95 is the freestyle of the year. I’ll go even further and say it’s one of the best freestyles I’ve ever heard.

That’s exactly the problem with Verb.

He used to know his rounds down to a T back in them early SMACK days.

That’s why his aggression and condescending demeanor came off so naturally.

His pen is still there (sorta)
But he just doesn’t have the confidence in his rounds in the sense of spitting his rounds like he used to back then.

And it’s prolly that that’ll have Mook winning the battle, even tho Verb has a better pen.. smh

This guy is one of the worst battlers out. The guy is more basic than Clips and DNA, without any of the qualities that made those guys top tier.

You know exactly what he’s about to say, and he doesn’t say anything fire. He’s worse than John John.

It wasn't a random shot at those guys, it's more of a continuation of the case I'm making for JC being a legend. Those guys were in a group with him, and are dope battlers in their own right. But Big Kannon is a regional legend at best.

Unless things turn around for Danny quick, he will be remembered as a regional guy. B Dot, Geechi & Rum will make it hard for him to keep the attention on himself. Geechi's success says a lot about how West Coast battle fans feel about Danny Myers. Geechi started back to back punching like Danny Myers and now he's on Summer Madness. Tsu Surf pulled out, we didn't hear anyone say "Hey, let's get Danny on there, since it's a Vegas card". They went and got JC.

So Danny & Big Kannon have never been there, JC has been there, left, and then came back.

JC is above Bigg K, Chilla & my beloved O-Red as well. Out of the active bar heavy big name male battlers, right now I only see Verb, Solomon, JC, Surf & Illmac as legends. Am I missing anyone?
Despite the foolishness, Daylyt & B Magic will be remembered as legends too, but they aren't really active.

Do you consider Lux bar heavy like Verb and Solomon are? If not how do you see him?
