I saw random people outside talking about Cass battling again

Ab soul was signed to one of the most respected rap labels and the battle was on the album, perfect rollout cuz the attention was on him (album ended up being weak tho) so he actually had a legit buzz around it

Slaughterhouse had a cult following and Budden was the lead man.

Ab Soul is the most irrelevant member of the Black Hippies... Most people couldn't spot him in a lineup

im in the bizarro world, did you even know the whole reason why TDE looked teflon? It was because kendrick, soul, and schoolboy all dropped critically acclaimed projects
obviously KDot was the beyonce on the group, but school was the gangsta west coast crip nikka, and soul was the witty lyrical guy, like a west coast jay elect, cant find a review of Control System calling it less than dope, he just dropped the ball on his follow up albums, hence nikkas now in 2018 actin like dude didnt exist

Anyway him vs Daylyt was good imo, only knock is they did it in a studio so Soul didnt project his voice, but these rounds ARE MODERN BATTLE ROUNDS, nikka was breakin day down in Lux like fashion

If everything Verb said was super cold and everything Mook said was either old, a reach or flat out not good then how df was this a good battle???

Mook wasn't aaaaall the way trash.....he had some moments in certain segments of his Rds, along with the Negatives Blac pointed out, and Mook brought the same energy/level of entertainment from the Total Slaughter into this except he added a million schemes. Verb was with all the smoke, spazzin' rd for rd, or when shyt was goin left w/the scuffles. All the intangibals is what made the battle good, at least in the room.
