It seems like the best league for females to get a battle nowadays is the Houston Bar Code. Those top tier females still get views. Not sure what qotr issue is.

If your talking bloggers then yea.. But he kinda had the cheat code.

He was more of a polarizing, entertaining clown who happened to like battle rap. So unlike other bloggers who are religious battle rap zealots and just reported their opinions/gave interviews he did it while making the show about him and his personality which led to an easy transition.

This nikka literally used to perform ad libs on stage during the battles
:russ:

As far as battle rappers

Hollow

Started a clothing line that I have actually seen people in real life wear (and I live in L.A.). Prolly not gon break the bank, but hes not hard pressed to whore himself out battling.

Arsonal

Went on to start his own league. Without him, we never see a Top 5 battle ever (Lux vs. Hollow) and even was able to book Suge vs. Hitman when nobody else could.
To a lesser extent, you can throw JJDD in that boat. Personally, I've never watched a battle from his leave tho, with the exception of B-Dot/Loso tho
:yeshrug:

Conceited, Hitman, Clipse, Charron

Wild'n out is going on like a 30 city arena tour. Conceited is unofficially retired. Hit man and Conceited also host parties.

Charron was able to flirt with stand up comedy. He was invited in just off his in ring wit.

I forgot dude name, but one of them dudes parlayed battle rapping into like Mayor (or some political office).
Outside of Hitman/Con, none of the people you listed are more known for what they did afterwards

And Oops was an actual activist, those people who voted aint know him from battle rap

When you go on tv courtroom shows, if you lose, they pay the settlement for you. So why wouldnt Magic just go on there? He obviously dont give a fukk about his reputation at this point and at least he wouldnt have to actually come up with the money to pay this woman.

To this day I still can’t figure out why Big Gerald responded to Verb during that Hitman battle.

The Fultons all love the spotlight, and they all seem to respond a certain way when challenged.

I respect it.

Edit - But that's just my way of putting things in perspective, I remember Holla tweeting that he never fully understood it either lol

So Charron and Clipse are more popular from Battle Rap then Wild'n out

I’m not even a Mook fan though. :dwillhuh: I just don’t hate people for getting bread or talking about it even. I’m not a crab. People wanting money when there is money involved and they are generating money doesn’t bother me like apparently it does others.

I'm not a crab either. I just think about the bigger picture because it did cause a domino effect whether you want to believe it or not. I only care about it because it can effect the way battlers get paid, venues get secured, and leagues continue on in the industry. Battle rap at one point was at a high peak and it dropped in interest. The era of the bag passed. Part of Mook's little part in that was that 1st round where you didn't hear battle rappers speak on the amount they get like that. So from there, we have issues of battles not going down and etc. Not to say brothas shouldn't get that bread but cot damn, some discretion could prevent some bullshyt happening.

What shift?

Is RBE gonna book him for every card now?:mjlol:

The same shift after diz vs oxxxy?
They should. I would bet anything their next card has Lux and then another with Mook. I think ARP is the one who sets up Lux-Verb.

It's wild how Jaz got some dikk and instantly turned into a dumb bird :wow: she doesnt even realize how trying to look sexy has just been highlighting how unattractive she is

I miss the tomboyish bar fiend jaz :mjcry:

RANDOM: is Queenzflip the ONLY person from the URL era of battle rap who actually utilized the platform and the fans the way it was initially designed for? It was always meant to just be a showcase for nikkas to move on to bigger things, damn near NONE of these guys have moved on

Flip was super visible for like 2 years max and used that publicity to do all types of shyt :wow: dude been on the news multiple times, viral multiple times, got a podcast/radio show, nikka was smarter than all of them

URL wasn't designed for these guys to have all these opportunities outside of battle rap. They don't release music through their brand, and they weren't creating any merchandise for the battlers. And they don't do it, because they don't have to. They know how record labels get down, so they aren't going to offer crazy perks that these guys wouldn't get elsewhere.

We know they've helped guys in need behind the scenes, but there wasn't anything in place to help these guys solidify their footing in the entertainment business.

If you really pay attention to Queenzflip moves it's obvious he was never in the position that 95% of these battlers are in, so it's a pretty unfair comparison.

At least every video he's on, Flip says "URLTV.TV" at the beginning or the end. He hasn't shunned the culture in any way either. He's had a bunch of battlers on Flip da Script and still follows the movement

I think he’ll book Lux, but in typical RBE in fashion, it would be a completely different off the wall opponent.
