Most Ricans on the island unless they come directly from Spain have some form of African ancestry. Look at her facial features. How do you know she has African ancestry?
Maybe I'm ignorant, but does that have a racist connotation? Especially, with the word 'sambo' in it.Just seen some Jamaican sambo dolls for sale in the DR recently..
I think you may be confusing the Afro-Ricans from the regular Spicy 'White' Ricans.Yea most african american got nigeraian and west indies in them.
Ricans for most Part got a little black in them.
Dominicans 85 percent of them are half black.
AA's don't have much Native American in them. Just 15-35 percent Euro. Afro-Latinos have more Euro admixture and 8 to 12 percent Native American.
I've done my DNA via Ancestry and I have 1.1 percent of Native. I'm doing my 23andme in December. Because I have 9% East African in me. Want to see if 23andme makes it higher.El wrongo.
Do your DNA and see

No they don't.
Most African Americans ancestors came directly to British North America (the USA) from in and around the kingdoms of Mali (modern countries Senegal, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Ghana) and Congo (Congo and Angola). African American heaviest influence is from the Mande and Bantu people.
Nigeria is a colonial creation and most slaves taken from Nigeria where taken almost exclusively to the Caribbean and South America. Very few were brought to the USA, because the USA had banned the direct importation of slaves directly from Africa into the USA in 1807, which was right around the time that the Fulani Muslim had collapsed the Yoruba Kingdoms in Nigeria..
