The prevailing thought is that phins fans need to calm the fukk down and I agree with that sentiment. It's game one and some fans are acting as if the phins were eliminated from playoff contention in week one after losing 5673 to 1 to the Washington Huskies.......

Was the performance disappointing? Sure. Do we need to play and execute better? Absolutely, but they buckled down and dug out a win. Let's move one please.

Nah bruh, you are one of the dudes I'm talking about. I ain't gonna panic. I saw just as much positive (if not more) than negative today.
Some great passes over the middle, and some nice out balls.mlots of guys were making plays to. We just didn't have the ball very much to actually get things rolling, especially in the first. The skins pretty much owned the first half.

Bruh, nobody's "panicking." But you can't overlook the fact that this was a lackluster performance. Realize, this Dolphins team is not rebuilding. It's playoffs or Philbin's job. We were expected to dominate the Skins. Instead, we barely got out with the W. The difference was a punt returned for a TD on terrible coverage.

The team still has time to tighten up, but this game shouldn't have been close.

Washington has been game planning us for the last month. We came in on the road and they were able to get some good long drives against us.
We made good and Bad plays on both sides of the ball. I'm not too worried yet. It's still early in the season, and we basically overhauled most of our offense. It'll take some time. That's why I'm glad we have these weaker teams up first.

I'm not worried about the "we were expected to dominate " shyt. Cuz those are based off of last years projections. Things have changed since then. Washingtons run offense is really god. They upgraded their oline, and have one of the best rbs in the league.
Cousins is ok, but he's shown that he can make some good throws, and some really bad ones. And he did just that today.

Not to many teams or even QBs were great today

anyone watching the Cowboys/Giants game? think Philbin would let Tannehill do what Coughlin just did with Eli?

what? fukk up the game and lose? I hope not.

Eli and the Giants completely fukked up in that game. HORRIBLE clock management. they could have given Romo hardly ANY time if they were smart.

and on that note...if Tannehill played like Romo tossing 2 interceptions Dolphin fans would have rioted and burned down his house.

He got real lucky the Giants are a bunch of idiots

My opinion even tho I only saw one half

  • The defense looked bad considering all the hype. No way did I expect Cousins to look this good against us. But we allowed them to run all over us
  • Our O-line looked average against an average defense
  • Tannehill looked rusty but eventually got his shyt together right before halftime. He always struggled first game of thrones season so no worries
  • Our WR group look deep.
  • I'm gonna drop 10lbs and try out for linebacker

the play when it was 3rd and 13 and they went for and got the 1st down. Dolphins would have run a draw. The Giants were fine until their last offensive play.
and what Romo did to win the game is what sets top tier QBs apart from where Tannehill is. Cowboys scored Tds on theit last 2 drives in 2 min drills, the last one being especially exceptional. can Tannehill do that? he needs to prove at some point that he can if this team is going to do any REAL winning.

and Washington DROPPED 2 clear INTs from Tannehill so don't make it seem like he wasn't lucky yesterday also

the point of all this, and what a lot of Dolphin fans have been saying is he needs to take the step UP to that level.

Our linebacker corps is non existent. I don't think I saw them anywhere near the ball give or take two plays. At least their coverage was decent.

so you watched the first half lol

the defense played Really good int he second half. But I think the skins run game is underrated. Their Oline with those studs is much improved and Morris is just a beast.

I will say this that final Romo drive was great. IT was a great finish for them.

But one thing that NO ONE is talking about right now (concerning the phins and tanne) is how they FINISHED that game.
THey finished the game on offense, something that they rarely have done and something that we've begged for for a long time.

Tannehill should get props for that. Miller made some great plays on that drive to.

two first downs to close it out and finished with the KNeel.

IMO, drives like that to seal it are just as important as drives that lead to a score.
Because if we would ahve had a drive to seal it last year we would have beaten The Packers and Lions, etc
