Still can't believe we're talking about batted down balls and inaccurate deep passes about THill. Going in on 4 years now.

Even that deep ball to Cameron was off. JC had to stretch the hell out.

It's frustrating.

The optimist in me wants to believe it's first game jitters, but 3 years of precedent say otherwise. The only reason Tannehill was able to connect on those throws is because the quality his targets has improved and, honestly, the Redskins suck.

If we're not careful, Jags will give us an equally close game. Yeldon is a tough runner. If he gets going, they may play possession-ball on us just like the Skins did today.

They beat us in every stat :heh:

Possessed the ball for 15+ minutes more than we did. Over a quarter more. :snoop:

When Tannehill made those type of throws to receivers who couldn't catch the ball we complained, when he makes it to receivers who can make those types of catches we complain. The organization knows Tannehill deep ball needs work and they brought in guys who will capitalize on those types of passes. Not every QB is perfect throwing deep.
Not sure what the issue is here :yeshrug:

Two batted down passes and y'all are frustrated? :francis:

Tannehill gotta be one of the dumbest QBs in the league
I'll say many things about him but dumb isn't one of them :comeon:
Bills trounced the Colts, a potential AFC champion.

Jets easily beat the Browns, a team that had a better record last season than the Skins.

Despite winning, we look like the worst team in the division.
ill agree with that last statement. We just looked bad. Our OLine is still a concern

:dahell:

The ball needs to be put somewhere the receiver can get it, not dive for it. He literally overthrew Sims so bad that he concussed himself diving for the ball.

Two batted down passes, four near-interceptions that a better team would have picked, repeated problems with the deep ball. I'm happy with the win, but we shouldn't be talking about these problems in year 4. Hopefully he'll be better the rest of the season.

Tannehill wasn't very good today, he was good enough to win. good enough to be a shytty team that let us off the hook.
we play another not so great team next week and then play the Bills and Jets, both of those teams have really good defenses. we'll see where he really is

Breh, there is a clear fukking pattern of these two things. Forgive me for hoping my franchise QB would improve or fix them.
His long ball didn't look that bad. The two bad ones were both out of the pocket and on the run.
The Cameron one was a good pass that any other QB would be praised for smh

His intermediate passes and short passes are great though. Has lots of zip on those.

I see a lot of dolphins fans overreacting and panicking today. Y'all need to relax.
Not too many QBs had great games today

Nah bruh, you are one of the dudes I'm talking about. I ain't gonna panic. I saw just as much positive (if not more) than negative today.
Some great passes over the middle, and some nice out balls.mlots of guys were making plays to. We just didn't have the ball very much to actually get things rolling, especially in the first. The skins pretty much owned the first half.

But QBs throw "near" interceptions every game. But they only seem to be brought up against tannehill.

Anytime a QB can throw more tds than ints and get the win is a positive in my opinion.

See I think tannehill DID play well. Not great, but not horrible like most would tell it.

I watched ALOT of bad...I mean really bad QB play today. Tannehill was far from that
