Lol the people who bought her shyt when she was hot turned their backs on her. :heh:

when nicki came around and got popular, a lot of people was like "kim, who?" especially when lil kim was callin' nicki out and everybody was on some "who the fukk is lil kim?"

like kim hadn't already blazed that trail that nicki is now eatin' off of :aicmon:

she was the product of one of the best to ever do it.. (BIG)

Once he left, she fell apart lyrically and musically.. I dont think we can take the blame on this

Same with Foxxy.. (Jay and Nas)

kim could still hold her own, even after big's passin'. i can understand if you don't think the music as hot, but she was still comin' with it now :whew:

even helped ray j make a great track :mjpls:

She should've just continued to put out good music:yeshrug:

The music industry is a what have you done for me lately kind of business. So her and many of others have failed to remain relevant because they live off the past. You have to reinvent yourself at some point

what i was gettin' at was the fact that hip hop has this very short attention span with it's artists and the artists' music :comeon:

a muthafukka could've been the best thing since slice bread, a legend and all that (like lil kim) but the minute someone new comes along it's like to the bushes that original muthafukka goes. that's what makes hip hop so fickled with it's level of respect and attention span

i understand what you are saying and hip hop fans are fickle and petty but those 2 million people who bought hard core arent all nicki fans. where are they?
