Sometimes I hate living on this planet because people keep declaring what can and cannot be for other people.
If they weren't really friends, if he was only sticking around for sex, fine.
But what if they actually *were*? All kidding aside, what if that happened? They'd be questioning the authenticity of their genuine friendship because of all this bullshyt. You don't think in all of human history there weren't women and men who were friends with each other for life? Lived and died being platonic friends?
I guess you can't know for sure until it's all over. But let the outcome prove what it always was, don't let the stereotypes obscure what it really is.
Life is more complex than the one-dimensional characters running around in your heads, to make statements like this is to stereotype all of fukking humanity. You don't know 7 billion+ people, even from everything you ever watched and read.
