Lol I'd rather stick to the topic at hand, I'm not gonna go through masses of K-Rino bars to then dissect each lyric. What I want to speak about specifically is the songs that have positively changed/effected people's lives. Any comments upon those would be welcomed and can speak about those.

But I'll quickly reply to what you said about the baritone line..

I just take that to mean his voice/rapping which is his like his instrument generates psychedelic pheromones, so it GENERATES them, not that his voice IS a psychedelic pheromone. So in a sense his voice/rapping is so powerful/hypnotizing it generates/circulates pheromones that leave someone in a psychedelic state and mesmerized by the bars and it attracts more listeners as it's addictive like drugs. So you might not like the bar, but it does make sense and it isn't rhyming just to rhyme.

A rhyme just to rhyme would be..

My pheromones mobile phone hotel cone sterile bone metronome

Etc... where you can't make any sense of it. The K-Rino rhyme you can make sense of, actually when I listened to it quick to hear it I thought it was pretty dope as it created some good imagery. Not saying it's the greatest bar of all time or anything. Am merely saying that it made sense to me and I see where he was going with it. Also I thought it was a well put together line also.

I haven't relistened to the other bar you mentioned yet as I'm getting so many messages about K-Rino from all over giving me props for putting people on, asking for song breakdowns, album recommendations and much more and am trying to do that at the same time while doing other shyt too. But for future reference where is that other bar exactly? Cause it's not the bar directly after the baritone part. And I just listened in parts at the moment. Like I said I'd prefer to stick to discussion of the actual topic of the thread, I won't be dissecting every K-Rino line as that shyt is a neverending task lol, and takes time. But I've given my perspective on the baritone line, and if you tell me where the other line is found I may come back to that when I can too as you've already asked the question.

The bar I quoted was from the song journey thru the metaphor labyrinth.

The last line I just made up to show you an example how a forced rhyme could look like (but replacing baritone with tenor).

Yea, I understand what you are trying to do and people have derailed the thread but I just replied to your statement that its ridiculous to make a claim that Rino sometimes forces rhymes (rhyme just to rhyme).
I also understand that you rather discuss the topic you posted, but when you say such statements is nonsensical or untrue I must be able to challenge you on it. Not to derail the thread but just to be able to discuss rhyme patterns and different rhyming styles.

Like I have said before, K-rino is a dope rhymer. But I feel he some times throws a word in just because it rhymes when the line could be much more direct and smooth. He dont have to say he got the "force of a Whale fleet" (a line also from journey thru the metaphor labyrinth). When have you ever heard a regular person talk about whale fleets? NEVER happens.

I looked up what you usually call a group of whales. the most common ones is: pod, a school or a gam. But you can also use: herd, mob, run, shoal, troup, flote, and grind.

Off all the correct words he could use to describe a group of whales he chose a to go with a "incorrect" word just to fit the rhyme (The definition in my opinion of a forced rhyme).

Only to be able to rhyme with: "I swell cheeks for twelve weeks". Which is not as bad but still feels kind of corny to me, especially when you have the whale fleet line just before that. Just imagine 2pac rapping that line.

Saying things like "My intellectual home is a terror zone" irks me. I understand this is his style and all that. But it just bugs me when a person is clearly is a great rhymer but dont know when to take it down a notch. He can come off corny with lines like that. The rhyme stands out and takes up to much room when it should be the line as a whole that gets noticed.

Of course some of it has to do with personal preferences. But I still think its a fair criticism.

For me the statement "rhyme just to rhyme" is not about him rhyming words that dont make nonsense sentences like your example: "My pheromones mobile phone hotel cone sterile bone metronome".
For me its everything I have talked about above. Different elements makes of a line feel forced.

Again. Not saying K-rino only have these kinds of bars but in my opinion they are not uncommon either.

@The Ruler 09 did you manage to do anymore of these breakdowns? I'm really interested in this topic.

No not yet, I haven't been on here much or read through this thread yet. I'll certainly be getting around to it though as there's a lot of things to add to this topics. I'll reply to you or @ you or something to let you know.

Oh, yeah, I know that as I listened to it. I thought you wanted me to explain 2 different bars but I think you said you made the other 1 up. I was just skimming the message at the time as was doing some other ish so just wanted to be directed to where the bars were if possible so I could relisten.

Ok cool, I do think it's ridiculous, as I explained, he doesn't do that. Whether you like the bar or not is a separate issue, you are entitled to not like it but it's not rhyming just to rhyme. I'm not sure how you're going to challenge me on the fact he wasn't rhyming just to rhyme though lol. As I explained he wasn't, and then I posted a line that would be rhyming just to rhyme. The words were not any old rhyme words thrown together, it was deliberately done. The quality even can be assessed as it's debatable, but the rhyming to rhyme thing isn't as it's not.

It sounds to me it's a preference thing, you don't like that style... ok... there's not much I have to say to that because I don't mind if you don't, you don't have to listen to K-Rino or anybody else lol.

With your further comments it again seems like a preference, so I don't think it's productive really to continue. It's not about what normal people say, MC's say a lot of shyt normal people don't say in general conversation. "Snatch away the moon and blow the sun away". Infact even rhyming in itself most people don't go around rhyming all the time lol. Hardly anything is "incorrect" as a writer/lyricist as you can do what you want, Black Thought did some "incorrect" shyt on Super Lyrical but it was still dope. There's too many examples of this for me to elaborate. Again, just a preference, nothing corny at all about that bar in that type of song, it's merely preference, I accept your preference, you can accept mine and we can agree to disagree.

I'm not reading the lines you posting cause as I said I'm only interested in discussing the songs that I personally posted about the topic of the thread. I'm not going to read, listen and then break down all kinds of miscellaneous K-Rino lines lol. Forced and rhyming JUST to rhyme aren't the same thing, but every MC is pretty much forcing words to rhyme as they wouldn't talk like that in normal conversation.

Who are your top 10 of all time rappers by the way?.

But like I said, let's agree to disagree and keep it moving. As I don't wanna get into a another long winded debate that goes round in circles, you have your opinion and preference, I have mine and that's that. Like I said, if you wanna talk about the songs I personally posted about the thread topic could do that, off topic shyt about random other songs I'm not really motivated to do. I'm going to try reply to @Wisdom777 a but more about this thread topic when I come back here.

Not so much a breakdown but a few thoughts on this song. This 1 grew on me, I saw it performed too 1 time and it was really ill. There might be a video of that online actually too. I'll have a look and if I can find it post it. It's a nice message and sound. Just a chilled contemplative song. I like the hook too. Interesting message about finding some form of heaven/comfort within oneself too.

Let's have a look at a few comments...

i Love this man and didn't know rap like this existed. I just found out about K-Rino last night and can't get enough. I hate the cursing, and violent, messages of rap and had stopped listening to rap in 2001 because of it. As I grew into a man I could find no place in my heart for such things but I never stopped liking rap, just what it promoted. But this man is a breath of fresh air.

K-Rino serves as an underground preacher, the profound teacher to lift the chin of the lonely person setting on the bleacher ... He IS the GREATEST speaker seeping through your speaker, the leaper of gaps, the ultimate keeper of raps, who spreads love without popping caps or stocking gats and swinging bats at crazy cats. Word }~.

I can proudly say, I would gladly pass on K-Rino's songs to my son and I hope my son passes it to his son, etc. K-Rino's rapping is something I can proudly listen to whether it's in my school or home. Not these shytty remedial rappers who basically rap about something a ten year old is capable of coming up with.

It made my day, I knew that everything was okay. Thank you, K-Rino. I grant you my respect. You're the only person that makes me think about the "Perfect World."

a combination of lyrics at this degree is exceptional. a talent posessed by very few in this world

K-Rino is the wisest rapper I've seen. In a perfect world, he would be #1. ;)

I'll have to copy more in parts cause there's just so many. But from the comments what I observe from people's reactions are people are encouraged by the refreshing positivity and they become empowered by K-Rino's words and music. Also seems to connect with people's spirituality and some souls as many with a righteous heart would desire something similar to what's described in the track. Liked the comment from the person who said they would happily pass down K-Rino's music to their son and would hope their son would do the same, I can relate to that, K-Rino's music being passed down through generations :blessed:.

And it's relatable you can be proud of listening to a rapper like K-Rino too cause it's actually highly skilled intelligent lyrically excellent and profound work. Certain shyt is just too shallow and stupid for me to rock with, I can't lower myself to that level. I like all different types of music but the overwhelmingly ignorant shyt I can't rock with. It's seems a lot of people share the view K-Rino is the best lyricist that ever lived, in terms of famous lyricists I concur. I also noted the comment that mentioned it took away their pain while they listened, I can see that, kind of imagining a perfect world for a while or an eventual heaven in whatever form that may be. With K-Rino you are getting far more than something you can just bop your head to, his music is invaluable and priceless. Just a few thoughts and comments, I'll continue this later and be back with more songs in due course.

a masterpiece wow!

Those are a few more. A lot of thoughts come to me when I see the comments. I've said for the longest that if you are a genuine fan of Hip Hop, key word being genuine, you do yourself a disservice if you haven't heard K-Rino's full music. You are missing out on 1 of the greatest lyricists of all time in any genre if not the best.

Despite what ignorant mindless trolls say we can see clearly there are many people that love and appreciate K-Rino's work. I think that's part of the reason we witness so much hatred and bitterness within threads such as these, when you're factually disproved you don't really have much else to do but get mad and type animal names. As I've stated countless times everyone is entitled to their opinion, but don't state slanderous lies though. We even see amidst these comments the range of K-Rino fans throughout the world.

Some of the comments mentioned some people don't want to hear the truth and I agree with that. That's why you have devilish agents like Tall Israeli hating on anything positive or righteous on here. And to some it disturbs them, or it makes them feel uncomfortable about themselves. I notice was even crossing through genres and effecting people who like all different types of music and all different types of people. Also comparing K-Rino to other legends of music such as Bob Marley, John Lennon and 2 Pac. Clearly can see the motivation and inspiration given, it's abundantly evident from the comments. Another thing I notice is the intelligence level and difference in righteous between a lot of K-Rino fans and the trolls, it's like you're operating on 2 different planes of reality, 1 is enlightened and the other can't even tap into things even on a fundamental level. They misinterpret and misunderstand almost everything, what can you do but pity them? In many cases they just know any better, yet, maybe they will 1 day though. I also notice strikes chords with males and females alike.

So yeah, this was more a breakdown of the thoughts of others about the song but hopefully you'll find some of this interesting. I'll be back with more songs that are relevant to the topic at some point. Peace.

The bar I quoted was from the song journey thru the metaphor labyrinth.

The last line I just made up to show you an example how a forced rhyme could look like (but replacing baritone with tenor).

Yea, I understand what you are trying to do and people have derailed the thread but I just replied to your statement that its ridiculous to make a claim that Rino sometimes forces rhymes (rhyme just to rhyme).

i feel that Fleet isnt incorrect in that line. yea he used it because it fit the multi but its not incorrect.if it means a large group how is that wrong?, the imagery of a large group of whales would be the first thing a listener sees when hearing that line.

i dont see the big deal in rhyming things nobody else does. not everybody wants to be a follower. and all top lyricists have bragadaccio tracks, some mroe than others.

2pac wouldnt rhyme that because thats not his style :manny: apples and oranges

There's not really a correct or incorrect, it's not an English exam. It's only incorrect if you try to make something make sense and it doesn't or make a factual error when you are trying to say something factually correct. K-Rino obviously knows what the word fleet means lol, and he clearly used it how he wanted to and there's nothing at all wrong with how he used it. Rhyming in different and unique ways is dope, it keeps things fresh, cat bat flat rhymes can get monotonous quick, K-Rino seems to have countless different rhymes and that's something that should be applauded considering his longevity. And exactly, people have different styles, there's not a right or wrong in that, just what someone choses to do and how they chose to approach things, people's preference is up to them, personally I like an artist that can be versatile and K-Rino does that and then some. Artistically and creatively at the highest level.

Good God... this is so amazing... People call me a 'metalhead' and, honestly, I love Heavy Metala dn Rock'n Roll, but K-Rino is so GREAT. His wisdom is beyond the human standards, of course, and his lyrics are so deep that even I, who consider myself a poet and all, could undersnt them fully. O_o

i think K-Rino is a rapper sent from God. like foreal, his God flow, Heavenly lyrics, and astonishing story telling is unbelievable even to other old school rappers that are believers of God. K-Rino is the Goat and no one comes near this man. and its amazing he is one of the most unknown rappers out today! still doing work on beats. God Bless this man.

K-Rino is inspirational. His creativity is off the charts. He will go down as one of the greats in hip-hop. I wish i listened to more of this kind of rap music as kid. yea i listened to other conscious rappers but no one strikes a chord with me like k-rino.

I am a mature woman whose wonderful son introduced me to K-Rino's music. The way I describe this enlightened man is," A Solider for Truth!" Keep spreading your beautiful music! From a devoted fan.

Brotha is truly gifted. He can put his thoughts down in clear description and still make the song seemless...it's hard as a rapper to make clear points without sounding robotic and scripted

K rino is incredible... Such a beautiful song, but the video is the icing on the cake... It reminds you how gorgeous this planet can still be.. making you almost forget about all the nonsense and drama we were brought into on our precious home we pollute and destroy... It's good to know people like K rino still exist in this day in age... Long live K-Rino.

a masterpiece wow!

I also notice strikes chords with males and females alike,

So yeah, this was more a breakdown of the thoughts of others about the song but hopefully you'll find some of this interesting. I'll be back with more songs that are relevant to the topic at some point. Peace.

This is brilliant. Thank you. It's great to see how the music is so powerful and changing people's lives. The people who I've showed K-Rino's music it's had a great effect on them too. K-Rino is a true MC and hip hop solider.

Yeah, it's definitely dope and encouraging to see how effective the music and lyrics are. Definitely powerful, in quite a rare way too, K-Rino is an artist who transcends self imposed artistic limitations some put upon themselves. He's a true artist, he is innovative, creative, he's still being artistic on his albums, many artists gave that up, started off doing it a bit but they run out of gas, K-Rino still doing creative shyt on every album. Yeah, no-one's perfect but overall K-Rino is a gift to Hip Hop and humanity as a whole, he's making music that is much needed, music can be magical and powerful. I'm glad there's artists like that still around, more and more people get put on to him daily. A true GOAT artist..

Was listening to this for a while yesterday...
