Bill Williamson of ESPN
reported on Monday that the Raiders are expected to "make [a] run" at Cobb if he is made available in free agency. Williamson added, however, that the Packers are "not expected" to let him hit the open market.
The Oakland Raiders have signed former Green Bay Packers kicker Giorgio Tavecchio, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press:
Tavecchio spent time during the offseason and training camp with the Packers in 2013 before doing the same with the Lions in 2014.
The Raiders have become a hotspot for former Packers players thanks to the connection with former executive Reggie McKenzie, now general manager with the Raiders.
Tavecchio will join former teammates James Jones and C.J. Wilson on the Raiders roster.
Might as well go for Aaron Rodgers at this point
