So Cal
Leonard Williams shouldn't even be in the radar anymore. They have no choice but to take a wide receiver.

I don't know my man, I could see us maybe picking up a guy like Harvin or even a Mike Wallace and going to bat with Streater, Jones and them. If we work inside out and improve the trenches on both sides I think everything else will fall in place. Not to mention there are some good receivers after Cooper and White. It's a pretty deep WR class and Reggie has shown that he can draft some gems. If we can pick up Iupati, our running game will improve immensely and our passing game will open up. Drafting a guy like Leonard Williams will make our young corners that much better when he's able to pressure the QB like he does, not to mention less attention paid to Mack :banderas:

I can see us picking up good WR's in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds

Yup. Leonard is the best player in the draft, if he's there at 4 we have to take him. Theres WR talent in the 2nd and 3rd rounds

They don't need a good receiver, they need a #1 receiver. They've been drafting receivers later for years and that shyt had gotten them nowhere. Doesn't matter how good the defense is if you can't score.

I think our need for a #1 receiver is overstated though. I'd be comfortable with a crew of Streater, Jones, Harvin/Wallace and Brice Butler if it meant that our trenches were strong.

i thought that too, but they ain't get nobody. Receiver core been :flabbynsick: since those tim brown/jerry rice days. Tale one of those guys in the 4th, Carr might have his go to for the next decade.
