I don't see how... If ANYTHING, they are equal.

I love tim duncan... I love kobe....

Duncan had 5 years of obscurity from 2008 to 2012 ..

Kobe had like 2 to 3 years of obscurity, but he was playing with SCRUBS and NO COACH.... Parker / Ginboli never left Duncans side

That's the tie breaker for me

Yall bytch nikkas keep ignoring that if you want

:what: obscurity to who??? cause
'08 won 54 games
'09 won 50 games
'10 won 61 games
'11 won 50 games
'12 won 58 games

sorry for yall nikkaz catching feelings but timmy career >>>

i like tim as much as the next guy but he's had a god-like organization behind him the whole time. i don't mean to downplay dude at all; he's an all-time great, point blank period...he's one of my favorite players of all-time. he's been the centerpiece of that god-like organization. i'm just saying given the totality of his career, i think he's been afforded a glorious situation that other guys haven't had the pleasure of being in...and he's capitalized on it, so all the props in the world to him.

i've seen people talk about mimicking san antonio's model. that shyt is a pipe dream. drob's injury/tank job lead to timmay (one of the goats), they got pop as a coach (one of the goats), their front office/scouting (one of the goats) etc...and they've all worked in unison the whole time...shyt has been a perfect storm for the spurs. good fukking luck trying to match that.

Seriously, that post is so fukking stupid.

During those 6 years: FG% never dipped below 49%, PER never dipped below 21, never grabbed less than 9 boards a game, and aside from a shytty year in 10-11, never scored less than 15 a game. This is all over the age of 31.

Tim Duncan has the better career:manny:

While I still prefer Kobe as a player over Tim. Tim has had the 2nd best career after Jordan since the NBA-ABA Merger :ehh:

Got no choice but to salute him:salute:

lmao Kobe been more consistent, put up better numbers, more all star games, more first teams, more EVERYTHING than Tim, how is the fukk Tim had a better career, he had a better start, but overall?? it's laughable, since 05 Tim wasn't even the best player on Spurs, since 05 Kobe been the best player in the whole entire league, it's not even close man
