The real question that nobody asks is where Gregg Popovich ranks among coaches.
Because the man won 5 titles, has taken his team to the playoffs 17 years in a row, and did it all without Kobe, MJ, Shaq and Scottie...like another coach who shall remain nameless.

And while I have A TON of respect for the LA and even root for them, let's not act like the refs didn't rob the Trailblazers (and possibly the Kings) of a title shot.

U can make case for Pop being the greatest coach but the Blazers rob themselves while the Lakers would of swept the Kings if not for the refs(Game 2).

You could make a case for Shaq, Kobe and Duncan as the best after MJ imo...I'd go Shaq though.

Yall dudes man I respect Duncan but he ain't better than kobe he wasn't even the best player on his team team he's not even a superstar anymore. Imagine if kobe won his 6 ring in the same role duncan won his 5 yall would be killing him saying he piggyback for another ring

Kobe had 5 years of obscurity and the Spurs got bit with the injury bug and lets keep 100, Pop's coaching was getting obsolete so he changed up his style slowly and quietly got some great pieces together. Leonard is a prime example of a great piece.

Kobes teams had 5 years of obscurity kobe individually hasnt he's either been the best player in the league or top 3 for like 13 or 14 seasons cant say the same about Duncan

Well that's not gonna happen in the first place unless Kobe humbles himself like Duncan did and ALLOWS his coach to reduce his role.
