Hogwash.

Tim Duncan....right now....is where David Robinson was in the 1999 season. The veteran leader being carried by the younger players. Tony Parker, Khawi Leonard are the best players and the lifeblood of the Spurs. To pretend like Duncan was out there dominating averaging 25 points, 13 rebounds a game like he USED to be able to do is disingenuous as hell.
:snoop:

Do you even understand Basketball? Duncan was out there making winning plays possession after possession. Altering shots, making great passes, setting great screens, being a defensive anchor and an effecting the game without the ball. Sometimes I forget you coli nikkas have no clue when it comes to Basketball. Like you guys just ball watch.

This is complete rubbish. They didn't need Parker him to win IN OKC (where Duncan took over in OT), to clinch vs Portland, nor did they need him tonight to clinch the title. Meanwhile, Manu and Duncan were the catalysts for the comeback. Duncan was going to win the FMVP last year, and would have again this year if Kawhi didn't play so well tonight.

Park is the system player, not Duncan. And this is ignoring his defense which ends the argument.

Hogwash.

Stop.

Duncan is NOT the best player on the Spurs.

Tony Parker is the lifeblood of the Spurs offense and Khawi played out his mind the last three games. Its NOT 2005 anymore.

Robinson was the 2nd leading scorer on that team, and 2nd best player in 1999, we gonna act like 2nd options aren't as important as firsts now?

Duncan was the 2nd leading scorer in the playoffs, and had the highest PER for the Spurs this year :russ:

The cool thing is now you can just ask someone Duncan or Kobe and based on a one-word response you can immediately know if that person is a knowledgeable basketball head or a stupid, clueless, dikkriding fakkit. :ehh:
