The catch is that you have to live there after you fix it. If you don't live in the state.

As desolate as Detroits economy is, the only people in a position to buy are in a small percentile.

It's got to be some brothers/sisters with a few grand laying around though.

That's the issue the ones of.us.Who can can't just up and move.there.

I hate when people say black need to own property especially when they address those comments in front of people who economic situation isn't up to par.

black people need jobs first especially in detroit. how about the government in detroit work on how to lower business taxes so more companies can come in. how about investing into some right politicians who's going to clean up the city instead of raping the city

SMH and some of these hard heads rather buy $1200 sunglasses to rock in the club than to improve the condition on black folk.

We could start by buying up property in rural areas outside of major metropolitan areas with large black populations. Build up safe, successful black communities there and then work our way up

I saw the thread you made where you copied that from another forum. That won't work for a variety of reasons, but even if it could, it's not something that can be immediately implemented as it would take lots of time and cooperation to do. It's also not "starting small" as this takes way more work than buying and fixing an existing home in an existing city with an existing large black population. The point of this thread was to give the people who are on the Coli talking about what black people need to do to come up economically a specific solution that they can use right now if they have the means, instead of talking about generic solutions and never taking action.
