for what they are paying him, ferentz might be the worst coach in the country. guy gets paid like 4 million a year, and is under contract til 2020, and the team is buttcheeks

and just recently his name stopped coming up for NFL gigs

les miles? dude makes some of the worst in game coaching decisions in the country. he just happens to make those decisions with teams fukking dripping with elite talent so those horrendous calls he makes largely go unnoticed. its also not too early to put david shaw on the list. fukk petrino. swap out petrino for shaw. the scheme shaw drew up for that oregon game last year, and doing it with a freshman qb making his second ever start, was one of the best displays of coaching ive seen in recent college football

Les might be the luckiest coach in CFB history. A lot of the shyt he pulls have been on some :why: status shyt. Just horrible calls that tun into good situations either because of player talent or the ball just bouncing LSU's way.

what was the game where they were losing in the closing seconds, and he had them lob a deep ass pass to the end zone, while in fg range, and the ball happened to get batted down with like 1 second left so they had a chance to kick the fg still. i think it was during a year they won the title. just idiotic

LSU games are must see TV because you KNOW The Mad Hatter is going to make a decision that makes you look like :dwillhuh:

Then it works and you and your boys are like :krs: :gladbron: :ooh:

Then he walks into the press conference with the :smugbiden: on his face

Besides, if every coach played every situation the same, shyt would be mad boring. You need loose cannons and creative mines like Miles, Leach, Spurrier, Ault, Holgorsen, Shaw to keep things fresh...

Urban Leyer owes his reputation (the good stuff) to Tebow, Harvin and the rest of those boys who are in the NFL.

I'm not saying he's trash but it's not like FL was at the bottom when he got there. Let's see how his OSU resume looks before he vanishes.

Dana Hologorson gonna enter worst coaches list after WVU goes 4-8 this season.

it became very obvious during their 2nd half that dudes overmatched, had a premier QB and 2 baller wideouts and they couldnt move the ball

i cant wait to see Bielema without one of his loophole rule QB's hes been using the past few years, Russell Wilson doesnt fall into your lap every spring good luck in the SEC

Urban is a sack of bile but he did put Utah on the national scale, dudes a winner everywhere he goes :yeshrug:

The best coaches is fukking terrible. Petersen is a joke. He know if he goes to a big conference he'll exposed like Hawkins.

Patterson doesn't impress either. Yes, his 3-3-5 looks good against an average-to-below qb. However, against a good QB (RG3 in 2011) They would get toast.

My Top coaches would be no particular order

Saban
Snyder
Sumlin
Shaw
Tuberville

O'Brien

Tell me about it. Rooting for LSU will turn your hair gray....the d is legit, but the offensive playcalling is so 'simple'. I've seen Miles run over a 1000 toss dives and ive never seen that play get more than 2 yards. It's so basic but when the other team's d line gets tired our o line starts to dominate then it looks beautiful. (This doesnt happen against Bama though :lupe:) You're right it only works because of the talent which is everywhere except the qb position :to:

Why does a major program like LSU not have an offensive coordinator :noah: or ever gets a stud qb?

They got Cam Cameron to run the offense.
