Alex Smith was no scrub in college.
Not saying he's bad. But if he's the second best, there's a large margin between him and Sabin.

A lot of the terrible coaches got canned recently so it's tough to think of some real sorry coaches. If I had to vent on coaches I thought got way too much praise for doing nothing Skip Holtz was the #1 guy he sucked but got hyped because of his daddy. USF hiring him set their program back 5 years they lucky they fired him when they did.

By no means do I think that Ferentz is a great coach. But you have to take into consideration that his recruiting base is the fukking state of Iowa.
And even that he has to share with Iowa State.

I'm sick of Boise and their scheduling methods. They prep all offseason for one big game win it then play the bottom of the barrel FBS schools for 70 percent of the season and cry about deserving a shot at the title. How the fukk they gonna turn down playing schools like Nebraska because they demanded Nebraska play at their high school stadium. That be like San Jose St demanding Michigan play them home and home.
They punked out of playing FSU last season after FSU called them out to cover for WVU pulling out but they didn't want it. BSU and the media like to compare their building up to that of what FSU did in the late 70's/early 80's but I call bullshyt. FSU took on anyone anytime anywhere without begging for return games at home. shyt I believe they played Nebraska,Ohio State,Michigan and Notre Dame like 3 or 4 times on the road without getting return games out of it.

I think when Bielema gets fired he will end up replacing Ferentz at Iowa. That is where he graduated from.
