Or should I saw increased cultural relevance? I've always heard people talk about going to Canada here and there but last couple years everybody is talking about going to Torono /The 6.

Is it purely music hype or has it genuinely got doper as a city? Have you noticed it as a more popular city recently or is this not noticable in real life and all hype talk? I'm talking from a european perspective. Americans may have noticed no change in the perception of Toronto.

But it's always been that pretty much right? For some reason I feel like where I'm at (England) it's just much more talked about among black people especially.

The raps made it to the playoffs in 2014 after not qualifying for some years. And then the blue jays qualified in 2015 and went on a run, and of course the raps this year

That alone makes it feel noticeable in real life, add to that other factors like Rob Ford (rip), now PM Trudeau which has increased global attention on us
