This is really incredible, dude couldn't shoot coming out of college, he was basically just an undersized 4.

My Pops Forever RIP
The Pacers have 2 max players on their roster that wasn't drafted in the top 7 of their respected drafts. Lance has developed nicely. I don't see how Leonard wouldn't have done the same.
like you just said, Lance, and Paul George. Not sure where Kawhi fits into the equation (especially at the time of the deal when Granger was still beastin)

Kawhi benefits greatly from where he is and the opportunity he's received. George Hill ain't much to write home about, but we'd be saying the same about Kawhi Leonard in Indy.

shyt, it actually makes me wonder how their first rounder Solomon Hill would do in another place. Look at Miles Plumlee. They got clowned for drafting him. Now they get clowned for trading him. Sometimes it's the team.

Eric Gordon got a max bruh. Luol Deng hit the Bulls up for a grip. Wouldn't shock me if Minny gave dude the max.
we couldn't even if we wanted to.

At the very least Leonard would be a lockdown defender in Indy, something they don't have now.

Kawhi is the player he is today because of the Spurs.
And Paul George is the player he is because of the Pacers. See how I can make that work for my side? The Pacers are very good at developing talent. Just think of how good they would be if they kept Darren Collison.

Wake.
I think the Spurs traded George Hill for the pick that became Kawhi Leonard. Kind of a big difference there.
