by definition dude isn't an industry plant...first time everybody heard him was on Cruel Summer and he was already signed to GOOD Music as a producer and Grand Hustle as an artist...Mike Dean was his plug into the industry...that was on some natural shyt...

his wave, however, is created purely off of hype due to his associations, and his hasn't lived up to it in the 2-3 years he been bumpin around...i don't know if he's been spending all his time funneling his dope music to Kanye and Ye just ain't touched it yet, but dude shoulda had a much bigger wave based off of who he fukks with alone...by comparison, Migos had Drake hop on a track to give them a boost, but completely carried that shyt nationwide with their work/work ethic...Travis got all the connects in the industry, but don't know what to do with them...

guess it's just the test of true star power...Travis is a talented producer and a dope performer from what i've seen, but his rapping is fukkin atrocious and his influences aren't hidden well enough...he hasn't added his own twist to his shyt which is why he's failing...

His music is right up that YT & RHQ valley. Promotes all the same evils. He's garbage as a vocalist but it's still that Trap influence to it. But because he's suburban it comes across a little fake.

What beats did he make?

I'd like to know.

Everyone touted him as a dope producer but he didn't make any beats on days before rodeo

just peeped them production credits :ohhh:

i thought he produced/co-produced most of them beats...i'm pretty sure he curated the project, so i still wouldn't discount the little bit of talent he has, but i hope this nikka is touching the board...

The best part about him is the vocal effects he uses IMO

He had no bars but his shyt sounds so good. I do like a few of his songs doe.

:mjlol: I'm not a big fan but dude is far from act hard. He accepts his cornball side to the fullest, he says shyt like "kickass shyt" on tracks. And the one song he raps about a trap the whole song is about him taking drugs and telling his old drug dealer his shyt ain't getting him high no more

@Gator Reloaded i think he co produced most of the songs on there, cause they trap beats mixed wit different layers of stuff u wouldn't hear on a migos track, the beats are a mix between yeezus and the trap sound

If I had to classify his music I would say it's a mesh between white boy rebel music and trap, and embrasses and doesn't shy away from that.

One of his hooks is "we will understand if they don't, we don't want they bullshyt/new shyt no more" sounds exactly like a white boy rebel rock song. shyt dudes Create mosh pits at his shows and shyt

That last paragraph sounds like kid cudi bro. Exact shyt cudi be saying :mjlol:

I don't hate travis at all....but it's hard to be 100 % fan when he's taking so many styles but I guess they're just influences idk

Yea on that song he sounds exactly like cudi, but that's exactly what I expect a suburban black kid rapper to sound like(cudi, future, and trap in general)

That was they influences, but I still think ye bit his style in yeezus and tho heavy. Cause days to rodeo is a better version of yeezus imo, it's sounds more true to Travis, like mike dean and his youngin came up wit this idea and brought it to ye

Maybe you arent putting enough thought into it.

Hes a suburban loser trying to act street.

Hes garbage. Just let him go
ol boy the reason why rap has no integrity....fam could call yall nikkas moms bytches and they'd be "who cares his music is good"

There is zero excuse for him to be rapping about the fukking trap:snoop:.

As Farrakhan said rappers are the youths leaders. So when you got dudes being successful promoting bs when they aint grow up like that. The Impact is HUGE.

He don't rap about nothin out of the ordinary tho, u rap about taking pills and bring on drugs. A trap is classified as any hustle making u money, his studio could be his trap, it could easily be nikkaz coming to him for weed also. But that whole song u talking bout is him rapping about the drugs ain't getting him high no more
