Because liberals love that fake outrage. shyt was going on for over 15 years and none of them spoke up until the new mayor came and slowed it down from pressure. No one in NYC "allowed" Stop and Frisk to happen anymore than people in NC "allow" innocent people to be murked while sitting in their car, or people in Tulsa "allow" cops to murk people with their hands up.
This "NYC is a liberal haven" shyt is nonsense that only people NOT from NY come up with. These are the types that confuse Manhattan with all of NYC and think that because people voice their complaints to their elected officials that those officials will give two fukks.

They actually supported it because it helps gentrification, Stop and frisk is basically giving the police a large fishing net and setting them loose on the public..its like catch and release trawling... catch everything..throw out the innocent and keep the guilty(ideally anyway)
the dragnet will catch most of the street criminals they want gone to make the property values go up...its effective but crude and undoubtedly violates civil rights but sometime you can get to the right place even if you took the wrong route
