The most realistic solution to this issue is to make the black community economically self-sufficient. That's just my opinion. I don't see the armed wing of domestic white supremacy willing to cease and desist their preying on black bodies out of moral conviction gained from town halls and hugging it out.

republicans ain't giving black people anything, but jail time.
OK, then don't vote for Republicans
you think the same donald trump that discriminates in his own housing developments will have a care in the world when black communities get pushed into squalor in favor of gentrification of the more prosperous parts of town? dahell wrong with you? the republican platform is built around policies that reduce the rights, freedoms, and opportunity for black people. and idgaf about other minority communities. they are not oppressed like us and many of them don't align or relate to our issues.

I'm sorry breh, but this is just an incredibly ignorant way of looking at politics, and it's derived from America's obsession with political pageantry and visage. LBJ used grotesquely racist language and signed into law the CRA of '64, widely considered to be the hallmark civil rights legislation of the 20th century. Bill Clinton was the proto-woke bae and signed into law the new Jim Crow. You know why that happened? Because the socio-political currents took them there. I honestly don't know how after 8 years of Obama one could still make the mistake of being fooled into believing the myth of
good intentions, so I'm gonna pull your coat and let you into a little secret.
No politician is going to do shyt for the black community out of the goodness of their heart. It doesn't pay. Do with that information what you will, but I would suggest taking a macro-level look at the political landscape and coming back with something stronger than "
Donald Trump was sued for housing discrimination in the 1970s" and the history of a party that he's destroying.
re-brand racism as "protectionism" brehs.

what the hell are you talking about? Rebranding what? I would love for you to tell the class how reducing illegal immigration is anti-black racism. How levying tariffs is anti-black racism. How stopping trade deals built for and by multinational corporations is anti-black racism. How fighting currency manipulation is anti-black racism. How investing in infrastructure is anti-black racism. Or is it simply anti-black because Trump proposes doing it? Donald is now on the other side of birther issue, are we picking up that mantle now?
