Youre so ridiculously hyperbolic...NYC has had stop and frisk for years..through republican and democrat administrations... I bet you didnt make a single thread about Giuliani or Bloomberg but now when Trump says it you running around like a rat with its tail on fire.


Heres the facts..theres NO national police system( thank God) so theres no way for a president to legislate this..Every police dept is under their respective mayors and Governors who are mandated by voters.

If the voters of NYC think stop and frisk works for them..wonderful...I personally dont like it but im not a New Yorker..i dont want it in my city ..even though there have been calls for it..i would vote against it

The real war that has already been lost is the misinformation campaign that has made formerly highly political communities (the black lumpen-proletariat) largely ignorant of political economy, the twin histories of colonialism and slavery, a truly global Third World perspective....

On this issue, Trump is a crypto-fascist with a hard on for cops, and Hillary is a kumbaya advocate. Neither will resolve police-AA relations. Begging for recognition of basic human rights is something black people have been doing in America for generations. I'm off it.

In light of this, I view criminal justice as a subsidiary of economic justice. If you give people economic prosperity, criminal behaviour will decrease. Make people feel like they have a stake in their community, through home ownership, employment, and generational wealth, and you'll see them start regulating themselves. It's what all other prosperous minority communities do. Hillary's neoliberal economic philosophy is worse for the economic prosperity of African-Americans than Trump's protectionism. Flooding the streets with unemployed black men and women as their jobs continue to be shipped to Vietnam will do nothing but stoke the flames of discord. Like Barack, she'll be great at giving eulogies, and like Bill she'll speaking in acceptable parlance, but the underlying issues will not be addressed. Because in order to do so she would need to reject her fundamental politico-economic philosophy.

Besides, this is only one issue. As I've said before, foreign policy is my main concern, and I still prefer Trump's to Hillary's (but the distinction has been blurring as of late ).

What are you using as a basis to make this claim? If broken windows policing isn't causing this, and stop and frisk in NY didn't cause this, then what?
