i dont disagree with you completely (it straight up will not happen without the US) but i dont see a peace deal happening even with the US in that position

Peace will only come when the Palestinians realize they lost the war

They have zero leverage right now and minimal support from their neighbors. Egypt has a blockade. Saudi's are friends with Israel. Syria is a war zone and Assad only fronts because it fukks with Israel. Jordan is neutral and I think they're a vital key in a peace deal. Lebanon has its hands full with Syria so I'm not sure how much support they can provide Gaza/WB.

The US forcing a peace deal is the only option to actually seeing peace.
