Try going to Africa claiming you're African while giving off an entirely American persona just like slave-descended AAs. You'll be clowned to oblivion![]()
I wouldn't even try too.
But, if I did for some odd reason - I would be greatly respectful and understanding to the history of the people in that country. I would learn everything I could about them and their ancestors experience -- and empathize with what their ancestors and community has went through.
I wouldn't front like I am the same as them and face the same issues and challenges cause we share the same skin-tone.
Nor would I partake in the benefits specifically made for them due to their ancestor/families experience. And if I did (and they knew I did) -- I wouldn't turn around and act like we are the same, marginalize their specific experience/history -- and even diss them and detached from them for my greater gain.
What kind of shyt is that...




That is fishy though everytime we mention things specific to the AA struggle we basically told to get over it. Applying for programs we fought and the data shows cacs will pick a immigrant over a AA.
Cause ATR and spirituality studies is a interest/hobby of mine. Plus, it's important in my personal life.
