Kobe snitched on Shaq
Kobe. And it's not really even close.
Nah it's very close. Snitchbe was the better scorer. Wade was better a rebounder, passer and more efficient. Wade was more injury prone. Defensively Kobe was slightly better.

Snitchbe has 5 rings with 3 as the second option. Wade has 3 with 2 rings as the second option.

Wade's 2006 run was greater than any run in Snitchbe career. While Snitchbe was bring pent up by Rip Hamilton and Barbosa, Wade carried an NBA Jam 1999 squad to the championship

That Miami Heat team was 2nd in their conference that year and As a Wade fan. The nikka attempted 27 freethrows in games 3 and 4 of the 2006 finals. He attempted 25 freethrows in game 5 Alone the Mavs team had 25 as a whole. Wade attempted 97 free throws for that whole series.

And wade had maybe 5-6 years where he was on par with Kobe. I’m a wade fan, and typically don’t mind if someone says he’s the second best SG. But when you act like Wade deserves to force that convo is where it gets ridiculous. Kobe was an elite player maybe from 01-11. Wade had maybe 7-8years tops at that level.

And I’m being nice by saying 7-8 years. Considering how many games he missed
As for Kobe getting “penned” No, he missed shots he shouldn’t have taken in the 2004 finals

Wade was getting beat in the first round just like Kobe untill lebron and Bosh came. stats wise he wasn’t a better rebounder either

Kobe - Greater career
Wade - Better player

Wade>>>>>Kobe
You nikkaz are wildin’

Wtf

Let’s make a ‘had a good game last night vs Kobe - who’s better’ thread for these Playoffs

:gucci:

Kobe was on a totally different level, not only offensively also defensively, with a totally different amount of responsibility not counting Wade in ‘06

Wade is a great player but not sure he’s 2nd best SG to be honest

Kobe and it ain’t really close, better prime and much much much greater longevity and overall career accolades. People saying Wade had a better prime because of 1-2 years in 08-09 where he had a 2% better TS% while still not even winning a single MVP or ring conveniently ignore that Kobe was in an entirely different universe defensively during that time while putting up stats just as good, while winning more games, MVPs, and rings in a much tougher conference. And no, Wade blocking more shots doesn’t make him a better or more versatile defender, miss me with that parroted nonsense.

Kobe was putting up 27/6/5 while singlehandedly carrying his team to a playoff berth in his 17th season at age 34-5 as the consensus best SG in the NBA still after all that time in 2013, only Jordan himself was a better SG.

Well there's kawhi who when healthy is generally considered the best perimeter defender of his generation...and the metrics say the Spurs are actually better with him off the floor last year, finishing with a defensive rating barely a point better than IT3

But that's besides the point, cause like I said I know FOR SURE you don't actually have a clue as to the veracity of the claim you made :mjlol:...so go ahead show how kareem, Bobby Jones and Gary Payton's metrics in all their all defensive team selections compare to all of Kobe's

Don't waste your time, cause it's probably impossible considering half these metrics didn't even exist a decade ago :mjlol:
First off defensive rating is a team per 100 possession stat. Oh, and I don't know where you're getting your numbers Isaiah Thomas had a 112 defensive rating well over the Celtics team defensive rating and had an atrocious defensive box plus minus of -4.3. Kawhi's Synergy numbers were elite you are looking at his on/off splits which were affected by him being frozen out by opposing offenses who instead targeted and looked to exploit switches against dude like TP and Gasol. Read about it.

Wade was a better, more impactful defender period. It's not parroted non-sense dumb ass nikka, in his prime Wade was an elite help defender with superior I.Q. and instincts he could see plays before they developed, he was a stronger P&R defender, he was a stronger transition defender capable of stopping breaks, and he was a flat out more explosive defensive player with more impact and every metric points towards that.

Lmao at being a shot blocker not making you a more versatile defender. Yup, being able to protect the rim and swat the shyt out of big man's shots ain't shyt, nah being able to recover and help teammates with weakside blocks doesn't give you a more versatile defensive skillset.

Kobe makes his rape faces, trash talks, and occasionally hounds on-ball and nikkas think he was really a high impact defender :mjlol:

What fukking different universe defensively what the fukk are you talking about? Kobe was never fukking Kawhi Leonard.

Kobe in an entirely different universe defensively in which seasons? Definitely not anytime from 06 on, Wade was the far better defender at that point while Kobe was still great up until 2010.
