Wade was the better player because all you needed was a roster to get him to be wade. To get Kobe to be Kobe you had to cater on a level none of us could get him to be Kobe because we are not Phil Jackson.
It took Phil coming to the Lakers for Kobe to play nice and become available for a team to use him as an asset.
Wade is the better choice because wade Contributed because he was available. Not because he wanted things a certain way. Wade ramped an EXPANSION team into mirorring the same type of success the other expansion team in the areas had success at in being a champion. Plus, did so without any serviceable parts till Shaq. With Kobe. You first needed the right destination. Next you needed the right coach and a roster devoid of comparable talent and pedigree at the sg position. [no eek, no eddie jones, etc]. So Kobe would and could compete for the starting job. Next you need the coach named Phil Jackson to motivate him to even play within a scheme and with a team. All from an unproven level of play. With wade he had to produce and real talk. He had to produce in an environment.
where the last Jordan type failed [Harold miner] and wade could have just as easily as well.
Where he was coached by svg, then riley and then the video tape room manager.
Not to mention, a green former player turned coach's team. barring injury, wade and company would have possibly beaten a number one seed as well. Up two wins to none, and having the advantage to win the round by sweep finishing the last two games at home.
So all this romancing the bean talk is not indicative of the real. As none of these stans of Kobe are capable of getting anything out of Kobe in this what if scenario. As we are not Phil Jackson and do not own a storied franchise like the Lakers.
Wade is the choice cause he would have performed in career timeline.
as a college pedigreed real professional, without causing any actual issues with a misleading and failing good faith organization. With Kobe none of us have the resources to cater to Kobe.
to get him to be professional enough to produce.
As a matter of fact Kobe's career is a luck of circumstance type career. As it can never be recreated or even thought about past its factual mythos. As it is so many factors to get kobe to compete to start. That if you know the facts like a real realist based fan of Kobe. You know factually he is a once in a lifetime combination of a number of crazy auxiliary based variables from social to physical to admin. That enabled Kobe to be successful at the dance. Knowing that is why i feel wade is the better choice. I would have needed less to get more. With Kobe i needed every intangible, variable, social graceful interaction, good attitude/bad attitude, cater to a primadonna. Including always needing the best big man in the game to win in any capacity. With wade i know i can make a conference finals, offs, and a good regular season with any type of coach. With Kobe i need to basically recreate the leagues' best big man.
While, I also have to exactly get Phil jackson to be successful in any way with Kobe.
Plus i get two positions for the price of one with no agenda as well. As i can move wade around to pg and sg and he will dominate how the position says it needs to be executed. With Kobe, i am only getting a sg.
who can not galvanize a unit without jackson and it literally hurts his spirit. to make teammates better or pass to them if Jackson is absent.
So then i have to pump up an ego and still cater to administratively. Where i can only get one coach to get Kobe to produce.
The people who say they fans or know this shyt.
Surprise me no one has thought about this for real.
You, nor i or anyone not named Phil Jackson is not doing anything with Kobe.
With wade you get that without Phil, the primadonna shyt, the mike clone shyt, etc.

In this scenario. To get Kobe to be Kobe.
You need a time machine,..plus.
A machine that makes you into Phil Jackson.
With wade all you need is the time machine.
I don't think I am getting blessed for the time machine. Let alone the time machine and a machine to make me into six foot ten and look like Phil Jackson.
