That's irrelevant, typical Kobe stan enamored with regular season volume scoring.

Stfu stanLOL @ VOLUME SCORING
IF U LEGITIMATELY THINK WADE WAS ANYWHERE CLOSE TO KOBE THEN U WERE DROPPED ON YOUR HEAD AS A BABY
NOT EVEN WADE’S OWN MOTHER THINKS THAT
Kobe just had more longevity, prime/peak Wade is the better player.
Wade probably couldn’t score 50 4 games in a row but he does have 4 seasons shooting 50% from the field. How many does Kobe have?![]()
Kobe was a perimeter player
Wade was a slasher who shot closer to the basket
You gotta understand how shooting works. Ray Allen is a career 45% shooter, he was a perimeter player. Shooting 45% as a perimeter player is equivalent to a slasher shooting 50%. Even a 45% perimeter shooter serves as a threat to spread the floor.
Why do ppl lack this context?
Wade was a GREAT player. He just wasn’t as dominant as Kobe.
I've only seen this argument on this site. Its not even a debate in real circles, Kobe was better period.
Uh...no...
Shooting 45 percent from the field..means you shot 45 percent from the field...
Now if you wanna factor in 3 point shooting, you'll use eFG...which takes into account the volume and distance of 3 point shots...
Ray Allen's eFG is higher than Kobe's and Wade's eFG is higher than Kobe's
Kobe just had shyt shot selection and Wade was even more dominate than Kobe because Wade was actually a good defensive player...
While Kobe only played defense like for the first 5 years of his career and then skated by on reputation...
Wade had 3 seasons of PER at 28 or above..
Kobe has one...
Wade was simply a more efficient and more productive player than Kobe throughout his career...
Not true....plenty of people think Wade was a better player than Kobe

Beat me to it. Wade’s bad knee shaved a good 2-3 seasons off his prime. He was better at both ends going peak for peak. Got to the line just as much if not more during their primes, was a more disruptive defender, and was much more efficient from the field while keeping his teammates involved more, but they were both done as elite shooting guards after 2012-13 while Wade was 4 years younger. He had an unfortunate tendency to get injured at the worst possible times too. Game 5 of the 2005 eastern finals, game 5 of the 2011 finals, and was hurt through the playoffs in 2012-14. That’s where bean overtakes him. The level he played at from 1999-2000 through 2012-13 didn’t see the same peak, but was 5 whole seasons longer than Wade’s, which started in 2004-05 and he wasn’t dealing with injuries as frequently during the playoffs. Over a 10 year span, I’ll take Wade. If it’s 15 years, I’ll go with Kobe.

Some of y’all nikkas don’t know how to evaluate the game
Kobe had a better J, post game, footwork, man to man defense, mid-range game, range overall, scoring ability
Wade was a better off ball defender, driver, passer, and he was more athletic
Wade could never score 50 four games in a row

Name someone with credibility that thinks this
IRL, nikkas will rank AI over Wade![]()

Who had the higher PER, TS, and BPM in their prime
Wade even got better playoff stats than Kobe...
Kobe is overrated as a basketball player because of rings...
I could name 10 perimeter players that are better than him...
The fact that people will rank AI over Wade shows how stupid people are when it comes to objectively grading athletes...
AI is my favorite player of all time but he ain't even top 25 of all time...
Probably not even top 50...
