Shyt is lowkey the best place to be right now
  • It's arguably the most powerful city in the world...
  • Probably the second most international US city besides New York...
  • Faster than the rest of the country but, slower than the craziness that is New York...
  • Career opportunities. It's more expensive here but, jobs also pay more...
  • GOAT location (the entire east coast has this in common). NYC, Philly, Baltimore, Atlantic City, Virginia Beach, Ocean City, Eastern Shore, Mountains are all between 2-4 hours away...
  • Gentrification is pushing alot of locals into MD, but on the other hand, the city has a bright future. Take one drive around the city and there's construction going on every other block.
  • GOAT public transportation. You really don't need a car if you live in the city.
  • Women everywhere :wow: Ethiopians/East Africans :wow: Nigerians, Ghanaians, West Indians :wow: Afrocentric broads on U-Street :wow: Bougie Howard girls :wow: Georgetown Pawgs :wow:
  • Mambo Sauce :wow:
  • When the MGM Casino gets built, its over :banderas:

NYC -> DC
Agreed... minus public transpo & mambo sauce.

One of the few cities I could live in coming from Brooklyn. Not mad.

One must decide between DC and ATL by the end of the week. Its hard :ohhh:

You can't go wrong with either choice.

Atlanta is less expensive. You can live like a king down there for pennies. GOAT black women down there. Probably the best city for blacks in America. I prefer DC though because I need to be in a large urban city. Its an easy choice for me considering DC is also still somewhat the Chocolate City (it's getting more :mjpls: by the day though). I'm pretty sure DC would be a better place for your career long-term. But Atlanta ain't bad.

I almost had my whole crew onboard for a move to DC a little more than a yr ago. Too bad my dude just bought a crib here in NJ, so if the team is going to slide down to DC as a unit, it'll be piecemeal.
Imagine that tho.... you move to a popping city with ur team of folks who are on the same wave as u, and yall just "take over"

It isn't easy to get jobs here and the prices are high to live in anything outside of a dusty apartment. Most one bedroom apartments will cost at least 1000 a month, and it will be in a ratchet area. I can't see people moving here and just taking over unless they had money before they came here.
