And the dude who released that acid mixtape that was getting ''rave reviews' who was Quincy Jones' nephew. Dude had a picture with Obama and everything. I forget his name but he isn't really talked about these days.

Chance? Chance was never a plant. He had a following from the early days. And he's going to come out with a project this year. He just hasn't been on the radar because he doesn't really care about being that next big thing.

People tend to think "plant" when what they're really seeing is the blog scene and the currency of "buzz" growing out of hand. Every blog trying their hardest to get firsties on the whatever is hottest, it snowballs and everyone is talking about it to such an extent that Coli posters put their tin foil hats on and begin posting hand-wringing theories about label 'plants.' Do labels have a hand in all of this? To be sure, but people sometime forget how powerful the internet can be, especially in distorting how popular X rapper might be at any given moment.

Nah. OddFuture was the real deal. O. F. was more universal than just Tha Trap. And that was part of their point as Artists

I'd say Troy Average is one in current motion. Saigon, even though he's very talented. Red Cafe. Asher Roth, Mac Miller, Macklemore, Mark Ronson, David Guetta, Slim Thug, Zro, and alot of others

Half of those guys you mentioned actually worked out lol

Chance is clearly a plant, who give a fukk if he has fans, he get no mainstream spins, so unless he's supposed to be a currensy, Dom Kennedy, big Krit type popular, his planthood has not worked

ASAP Rocky is a plant too...dude had major singles, Rihanna in videos, huge features, they wanted him to be in the bracket with drake, Wayne, etc, but he's not. No one is missing him right now, he's only as relevant as his current hit. People ask about drake or Kendrick when they're quiet musically, people forgot rocky exists
I won't even entertain the notion that chance isn't a plant. :comeon:It's plain as day to see that his Obama connections has taken him places. He flat out admits it in his recent Breakfast Club interview.

The first time I heard of ASAP Rocky was a article where he talked about getting a 4 million dollar deal and they went on about some big song he had. Mind you I never heard of him or the song. Definitely some contrived bs going on with him.

No way Odd Future can be taken at face value. Definitely a industry agenda going on with them. Tyler must be LA Reid's illegitimate son or something the way he gets treated. Nas even co-signed that corny "white suburban kids on acid reading the satanic bible" bs music that this idiotic group does.

"Industry plants", much like The Booth have become a parody of itself.

I seriously wonder about some of you nikkas.

:laff: At Obama taking a break from the war on ISIS to call up Power105 to make sure Charlamagne goes easy on Chance
