The Best Man 2
Moonlight (do black people even watch this?)

All of these +

OG The Best Man
Really - most Black romance movies. That’s just not my genre (The Wood was cool, doe)
Slave movies
Belly
I still haven’t seen Training Day, but I feel like I know the whole story
I don’t “hate” ATL, but apparently some consider it a classic - I do not

What’s annoying about Scarface is that, it’s not a terrible movie or anything.

But Al Pacino has so many better performances on his resume. How Scarface has gotten this cult classic status is just weird. I guess drug movies are popular.

No...no...it is a terrible movie, my dawg.
Especially seeing as how it’s a remake.

It may be the most sensationalized-80s thing of the sensationalized 80s.

...unless you watch it as a comedy, in which case it becomes hilarious.

It's not necessarily a black movie but the main character is black so I'm a run with it. I don't like Training Day at all and haven't watched it again since the first time I saw it. Of all the amazing roles Denzel Washington has brought to the screen; the one where he's a corrupt cop/villain and he finally wins an Oscar.

Yea, agreed. It was politics because honestly Russell Crowe should've won that year for A Beautiful Mind. But he won the previous year. Denzel should've won for Malcolm X but lost to Al Pacino who should've won for Godfather.
