List is incomplete without the roaring 20's

30's jazz

and

40's blues

Duke Ellington was the Kanye of the 30's.

Ella Fitzgerald was the Mariah of the 30's

Billie Holiday was the Whitney of the 30's

Billy Eckstein was the R Kelly of the 40's

Ink Spots was the Jodeci of the 40's

Louis Jordon was the Drake of the 40's.

Good looking out, I added another option for the 40s or before.

Kendrick, Gambino, Nipsey that’s all you could list? :heh:

I'm an old head :flabbynsick:
I don't follow anything current music-wise.

I only originally signed up on the Coli because of the DBZ threads :mjlit:

Anything before the 70s I haven't really messed with but I would definitely say my favorite eras are the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.
